Hans's favorite day of the week was Friday. His whole family was out, the servants had the day off, so it was just him in the castle. But now Elsa was there, and his day was soiled. So when his family left, he immediately began to make plans for a day out of the castle. He hadn't spoken to Elsa since the incident where she had run away, a couple days back. Hans quickly went to his room-ignoring the fact the Elsa had just opened her bedroom door- and came back out with a sword. He was swinging it, whistling to his favorite tune until Elsa decided to open her mouth. "Where are you going with that?" She asked. "Out." He responded, and that was all he said. He continued to whistle and traveled down the stairs. He did want to speak to her but, didn't have the guts to do so.

Elsa was surprised when Hans completely ignored her after the incident. When he responded to her question with just a single word, she was shocked. More annoyed actually. She was annoyed because she enjoyed it when Hans pitied her, and now he was acting as if she didn't exist. Elsa squinted her eyes as Hans traveled down the stairs, then she followed, keeping a respectable distance between him. Elsa followed him through the village, and to the forest, until he reached a clearing. She watched as Hans practiced his sidesteps, approaches, jabs, and blocks. Over and over he practiced different moves, but struggled with a specific move. Hans practiced it a countless amount and still couldn't get it. He threw his sword in frustration. Elsa cleared her throat. "You're not getting it because you're doing it in the wrong order." Hans jerked his head around. He raised his eyebrows. "Explain."
Elsa smiled. "Its jab, right sidestep, left jab, right sidestep, turn, then block." Hans looked at her, then picked up his sword. He tried Elsa's technique, and it worked perfectly. "Thanks." He turned his head away and began to practice again, which made Elsa more annoyed than ever. "You know," She started, clearing her throat, "I could teach you more about fighting." Hans chuckled."And what do you know about fighting you're a girl." He continued to practice. "Its also polite to look people in the eye, and more than you think."
"Don't worry, I'm a multitasker, and just because you're a pretty princess doesn't mean you're always going to be the center of attention."He concluded, and practiced his turning block. Elsa rolled her eyes. "I'm just showing you how to be polite." Hans nodded. "Thanks, but no thanks, I'm kinda busy." He said. Elsa clenched her teeth. "Well I'm about done for today." Hans said wiping the sweat from his forehead. He began to walk back to the village, but turned. "Oh since you're headed back to the castle, put this back from me?" He said, and handed her the sword. Elsa's jaw dropped. 'WHAT?!' she thought. Elsa ran to catch up to Hans and held the sword up to him.
"Do you think of me as some sort of servant?!" She asked. Hans backed up. "I just assumed you were going back." He said. Elsa glared at him. She dropped the sword, to the grass. "Why have you been ignoring me Hans?" Hans stared into her blue eyes, filled with sadness. "I've been trying to give you space, because after what I did...I don't know."
"You don't have to keep distance from me....I don't like it ok?" Hans' breath got caught in his throat. He slowly nodded. Elsa shyly smiled, and picked up his sword. "Here" Hans nodded. "Thank you."
"Hans-"
Elsa was cut by Hans' lips pressing against hers. At first, it caught her by surprise but she went with it. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her in closely. They broke apart and Hans smiled and said. "I love you Elsa."
