Chapter 11

Kat POV

Cassy woke up, thank god now I can see her. I walked into a room with happy people. I smiled at Cassy and hugged her. She had to stay for one more day before she could come home.

**next Day**

Today is the day Cassy gets to come home Cassy was not talking to Nash yet, I think she needed some time. We walked into the empty house, Cassy went to go take a nap and Haily went to the movies with her mom and Dad so it was just my family. Me and Lilia went to the park for a while. I dared Lilia to go talk to the same guy we saw at the park the other day, the one who's ass she squeezed, they hit it off pretty well and exchanged numbers. We decided to go home after they were done because it was getting dark.

We walked into the front door, all sad faces looked at us. I had no idea what was going on.

"What is it?" I asked with a lot of worry

"Grandma is really sick right now and they are going to stop treatment." My heart stopped at that moment

My grandma has had cancer for 4 years and she has been doing good. I don't know why now it got so bad. Me and my grandma are really close, she used to always baby sit me and call me her china doll. I can't loose her.

After my parents told me I cried, I didn't care if the Griers were here I was going to loose my best friend.

They Said it could take weeks or mouths before she passes, I can't believe my life is actually going to be without my not only my grandma but my best friend.

I ran up to my room I wanted to be alone but if course Hayes had to come in.

"Can I be alone?" I said a little more rude then I wanted it to be

"Sure." He said with disappointment

Wow I'm such and idiot, I just push people away every time they try to help me. I lied to Hayes I really wanted him to comfort me but I just pushed him out, man I'm a jerk.

Lilah's POV

Grandma.Grandma.Grandma. I need her in my life. She has had cancer for four years and is still here. They are taking her off treatment. I ran to my room. I forgot the Griers were here and Nash followed me upstairs. I was fine with that though. I really needed someone to talk to right now.

I sat on my bed and broke down. He held me in his arms and said it was alright over and over again.

"I will always be here for you Lilah" Nash whispered in my ear.

"Thank you so much nash." I said.

"For what?" He questioned

"For dealing with all my shit and problems with me." I said. Then he looked into my eyes and said

"I will always be here for you Lilah." and before I knew it,we were both leaning in. I knew that it was wrong but I needed to do it at least once.

Out lips collided and I felt sparks and fireworks.

We stayed like this for a good 15 seconds before I broke the kiss.

I looked into his eyes and had a slight smile on my face.

That was until I realized what just happened. I covered my mouth and cried again. I must look like such a cry baby. Nash just held me in his arms.

"S-S-She's gonna k-kill me." Was all I managed to get out. He heard what I was saying and ran a hand through his hair.
