A long long long a 3 gillion longs ago. There was a shadow kingdom. They needed help for the human kingdom was getting suspicious of the activity near the entrance. So the King decided to send his brother to find a way to make peace. with the humans.
As soon as the brother left a sickness arose. So a letter was sent to the brother to also find a cure for the sickness. Unfortunately the sickness spread to the human kingdom.
After that the brother got the sickness. Though only him not his family. He soon died because of that sickness. Though because of his death his only daughter turned into a shadow sprite named Tamika. (A/N: Sorry if I keep on misspelling Tamika's name(I may not be though I also could be.))
Tamika disappeared though with a warning. "Be careful... If you stay to long your powers will be gone.... though they will not if you turn into a shadow sprite. " Her family paid no attention to the warning. Though if you turned 10 or 20 the next year you lost your powers. If any shadow people moved to the human kingdom whenever you turned 10 or 20 you lost your powers.
Then one year my family was visiting a village. And saw people outside this cabin. I'm pretty sure my family were the only ones who saw this we saw a girl get dragged off by a shadow sprite. Ever since that day we made it our goal to help any and I mean any people that were orphans. Also they looked for that girl everywhere. And we heard rumors of a shadow girl.
So your probably wondering what does that have to do with your last name? well you see we were no ordinary family we were descended from the King.
