The Shadow girl

Chapter 1: The encounter

[Riru pov]

Its been many years since that fateful day. if people saw me they called me The Shadow Girl. I'm like 'I have a name you know' though only in my head. I don't go out much any more. I look about 15. Probably because i'm immortal. I only look 15. 

So today I was just walking in the forest. Then I see this beautiful flower patch looking like it was tended to. And I wondered 'Am i in the forest?' Then I see the women. She sees me. I faint from shock.

[Women pov]

"Oh dear oh dear." 'what have I done now this girl. Oh. Though what was she doing here? She looked healthy though had ragged clothes Weird. Sh also had a backpack. I ran over to her and checked her pulse. Thank goodness she only fainted.

"Butlers help meh." I say. They come over to see the girl. They help. I grab her backpack and look inside. she has food and plushies. Cute.

We take her into the house I bump into my husband. "Who is this?" he ask. "A girl that I accidentally made faint and I want to keep her." I say giving my husband puppy eyes. He can't resist the puppy eyes. "Yes." he says "Yay" I yell. Though that wake her up.

[Riru pov]

I open my eyes to someone yelling yay. I see two people look at me. one is the woman and the other is a man. Then I realize. "Wheres my bag?"

"Oh here you go." the woman says. I take that bag and look inside for Tamika. Shes there. phew. 

"Um girl is it ok if we adopt you?" the woman ask. As I look up. I stared wide eyed at her. 'What if... No I will stop it that time' "S-sure" say shyly. "Ok then I'm your mom now and my husband is your dad." the woman says. I sit up. "M-my n-name is..." oh.... uhh.... "D-do ihavetotellyoumyname" I say y voice going quieter and quieter. "Yes please." mom gives me the puppy eyes. I sigh. "Riru." I say. "Great from now on your last name is... Kage." my father says. wait... Kage... means... shadow... I look wide eye at them. "Why does your last name mean shadow?" I ask.

My new dad stares wide eyed at me. "N-no r-reason." he stutters. I give him a glare. He shivers. "Fine. Honey you should sit down with Riru." he says "Ok" she says. We sit down getting ready for the story.
