All Luna wanted was to get home and spend some time with her family but faith has other plans, a clumsy mishap might be the thing that could help her find the one she's been looking for?

"It's going to be fine, there's nothing to be nervous about," I mumbled reassuringly to myself as I debated on backing out of my decision.

I clutched the tattered brown leather journal closer to my thumping chest as I nervously rapped my knuckles on the unfamiliar timber door with my free hand. A few seconds goes by and the front door swung opened. I took in a shaky breath and smiled weakly at the person on the other side of the door.

A day earlier – 11:30 pm, Greenwich time. A day before Christmas.

"Watch where you're going, girl," a man in a black suit barked in warning as I accidentally ran over his foot with the wheel of my suitcase.

"Asshole," I whispered under my breath, well I did apologise afterwards.

I towed my large red suitcase behind me while I carefully maneuvered around the mass of people walking in all different directions. I hated the airport, especially when it's the holiday time. There was guaranteed a line everywhere you went, not to mention it was so loud and chaotic.

The airport was like a temporary holding cell, each one of us stuck inside the vicinity of the enclosed space until we were able to board a flight that would ultimately lead us to our freedom. Right now with all the frenzied people rushing around, I really felt claustrophobic.

I halted in front of the plasma screens of the arrival and departure times on the wall of the airport, my eyes zeroed in on my flight number. There's still a couple of hours until departure, what should I do?

Looking around the terminal, I noticed a huge Christmas tree displayed in the middle of the lounge.

The vibrant green colour striking against the glittering gold and silver ornaments that cascaded in tiers around the tree. Wrapped around the tree were miles of coloured fairy lights flickering in sync with the soft seasonal music in the background and the star – that was made out of Swarovski crystals – was sitting on top, shining iridescent.
