Riley POV
We were sitting around the campfire when we heard a howl we all knew who it was but to terrified to talk farkle had us all go to bed and watch farkle was going to take the next shift as for me I couldn't sleep so I just sat it's not like he did something worse to me it hurt maya my peaches and I'm not going to let him ever again Lucas care over and sat by me can't sleep yeah so I said since were soulmate and what not I would like to get to know you okay what do you wanna know? Why'd you leave Texas I asked he kinda froze well um you see I wasn't the best guy back there there were kids who made fun of my friends and I stood up to them the wrong way I got into fights and just this one time the Alpha son and me got into a fight he punched me first and I punched him back and long story short we both ended up with bloody noses but it didn't matter that he punched me first the mayor had me kicked out of school and the packed my family was disappointed my mom and dad didn't really care but my pappy joe did Zay stood up to the alpha and told him what really happens cause he and Vanessa were there so he had them kicked out as well Zay Grammy was upset like I said our moms and dads didn't really care Vanessa family was just happy she was leaving so we moved here and now here I am talking to you and though you maybe not like me and what not I just want you to know I don't want to be that guy anymore I swear I'll never hurt you lucas rambled he was so cute when he rambled and I wasn't going to hold this against him he's wonderful and I still care for him I'm glad he told me I still think your a good guy Lucas I understand and it's okay I'm always here to talk anyways. Thank you riley now what's a question I can ask you you can ask me anything lucas well do you know anything about sports yeah I'm into basketball ohh you a Knicks fan of course I'm From New York so you gotta be a Knicks fan and although this may not be our best season we still got a shot and I will always root for them wow well that's awesome maybe one day me and you can go to a Knicks game together that would be really fun Lucas yes it would I stared into his gorgeous emerald eyes that had so much hope and although he might have some anger problems I think that he is amazing and like he said he doesn't want to be that person anymore and I believe him but his eyes have so much hope for the future and I hope where the future leads him I will be right there beside him I may have just met him but I can already feel a strong connection
