i spy with my little eye ㅡ something beginning with d.
danger.
i smelt it as soon as i walked into that room.
i was just too scared to speak up.
i let a dreamy sigh slip past my lips ㅡ throwing my luggage onto my new bed. "korea!" i exclaimed, twirling around. i saw my roommate, emiri, roll her eyes. nonon emiri was her name ㅡ well, that's what her /japanese/ name was. we met at our previous location ㅡ we lived in an apartment block together and hit it off immediately. she was a quiet, yet clever girl. one that i regret ever losing. she placed her bag down on her bed, about a metre away from mine. "you're so energetic, i don't even know where you get it" she chuckled. i just blew a raspberry and flopped on my bed. as usual, she started to complain about the pointless. "i mean, how come you get a manager position, and i have to become a trainee!" i sat up and raised an eyebrow. "because i'm the one who studied to become one, not you. besides! you have that natural idol look! ooh, do you think you'll be able to hook up with some hotties!?" i giggled, which received a disappointed head-shake from emiri. "i doubt that" she started unpacking as she spoke.
"anyway, we're here to work, not mess around, ku." she stated. i puffed out my cheeks. "whatever. i wanna have fun! go to parties! meet cute korean guys! all that shi ㅡ"
"oI-"
she stopped me before i could continue.
"don't get distracted. you'll have a whole group of trainees to manage, remember? i don't want to see my best friend getting fired..not too quickly anyway" she mumbled the last part, but i heard. i rolled my eyes and quickly unpacked my things. "woo! done! now to hit the town!" i fingergunned at ㅡ nothing. emiri spoke up, once more. "nuh-uh. we have to be at the company building by four. you have to meet your group and i have to meet mine" she was right. i was actually quite excited to see who i'd be working with for the next few years. despite my horrid, carefree personality ㅡ i genuinely wanted to help a group of rookies turn into stars! and this job was my chance.
"what was the company name again?"
i said forgetfully, but actually for the benefit for the reader.
emiri facepalmed.
"venus entertainment. under ceo jeon-nim. they're a new company but apparently they're-"
i interrupted, remembering something.
"wait, jeon jeong-gug!? kaito of nmd!?" i squealed "omg! i wonder if i can hook up with him. he's so dreamy and talented and beautiful and a great dancer, and i bet he has the juciest c-"
emiri threw a mug at me, causing me to "oW, bitch" and spit at her.
"i told you to not get distracted! we'll have time for that later! now come on, get changed to something more formal and then we'll head out"
i sighed in defeat. "fine.." i mumbled as emiri walked to the bathroom to change. i hummed in thought, picking out my clothes.
i changed quickly, and looked in the mirror.
"damn i'm cute"
i chuckled to myself.
i was kinda sad.
emiri sighed dissatisfied at me when she walked out. she actually looked..pretty. but nah, i'd never tap that. i was hella gay.
she sighed. "well, that's about as formal as you get." she was right. i hate suits and fancy things. she fixed on her hat and smiled at me.
"well, let's go!" she seemed enthusiastic for once.
i applaused her and followed her out the apartment, locking the door on the way out.
