*Time skip* (Lunch Time)
(Alexandria's P.O.V)
I sighed as time went by slowly. I finished all the meetings for the day but I still had loads of files to sign. Most of them were projects and the rest of them were the company's bills. I can't seem to be able to concentrate. My stomach made itself known by roaring loudly. I patted it saying:
"There there,I'm going to feed you soon."
I did have a lot of work and I couldn't possibly leave it. I continued my work, ignoring the protests of my growling stomach.
(Third P.O.V)
Alexandria continued working, ignoring her poor stomach who wouldn't stop growling. An hour later, she was all done and she stood up to have a little walk as her legs were cramped from sitting. She felt herself staggering. Lack of food made her weak and the fact that she was anaemic didn't help. Soon after that, Alexandria felt as if she was in a daze and fell down, unconscious.
Blake was kind of worried as he did not hear of Alexandria at all. Usually she would call him up for lunch but since Blake did not have any news of her,he felt restless.
'In love , are we ?' Blake's subconscious jabbed
He brushed it off, rushing to the fourteenth floor to check up on Lexie. Taping his foot anxiously on the elevator's metal floor, Blake kept looking at his watch. Once at destination,he rushed to Lexie's office. He knocked at the door, thrice but heard no answer. He opened the door slowly , only to find the spacious place empty. For his own satisfaction, Blake decided to look around. Nearing Lexie's mahogany table, Blake saw the redhead sprawled on the marbled floor. He panicked for a moment , thinking of the worst possible scenarios but calmed down as soon as he saw her breathing.
The lad rushed to her side and picked her up. Her small yet firm frame was light like a feather. Fortunately there was a large couch in the room.
'Obviously, you forgot that she is crazy rich' Blake's subconscious remarked.
Tucking Lexie on the couch,Blake called a doctor. In less that fifteen minutes, the doctor was by Alexandria's side , checking for injuries or any other problems. A few seconds later, the doctor removed the stethoscope from his ears and asked:
"Has she been eating properly since the past days?"
"I wouldn't be able to tell Sir" replied Blake, ashamed of himself for being such a careless secretary.
"Well her heartbeat is going slow,a bit too slow. Make sure she eats on time and I'm going to prescribe some tablets for stress. As she is anaemic , i will prescribe some iron tablets so that if she misses a meal , she could have one of those."
"Sure Sir,Allana here will see you to the door and settle the dues" Allana, the receptionist nodded as Blake said so. He didn't even notice people gathering.
"The show is over, get back to work!" He ordered, tad angry.
'It's all my fault,I should've been more efficient'
'What kind of a secretary am I if my employer falls unconscious under my surveillance.'Blake thought, reprimanding himself. Alexandria grunted and struggled to sit. Seeing that, immediately Blake rushed to her side and helped her up.
"Take it easy woman. You just fell. Unless you eat and rest, I will not be letting you off. Abruptly standing up would make you feel dizzy so don't even think about it." Blake scolded.
Alexandria blinked twice in disbelief. No one ever scolded her before. She smiled at him and said:
"Thank you Blake, I'm very grateful for your help."
Seeing Alexandria smile for the first time, Blake flushed red.
"Y-You're welcome. P-Please t-take c-care n-next t-time." He stuttered
Her smile widened
"I will." She nodded
Blake's blush deepened but quickly regained his composure.
"I-I shall take my leave now, if you would excuse me." He said , rushing out of the room.
She nodded to herself as Blake had already left.
'This is the first time that anyone has ever scolded me. For some reasons it feels nice.' She thought to herself as she laid down again. Closing her eyes , she fell in a dreamless sleep.

As soon as I heard that Lexie fainted, I rushed to her office, leaving my photo shoot. As best model and actress of Chicago, I get offers everyday. Well enough of that. I rushed to her cabin, leaving agape people behind me. Once there, I expected a doctor at least but found nothing but an empty cabin. I was about to turn around and leave when I heard soft snores. Walking to the couch in the middle of the cabin, I saw Lex curled up and sleeping soundly. Seeing her safe and healthy put me at ease. The shoot I had today was for the first batch of model institution. People get formed to be models there. I also had an interview after that. I wanted it to be a surprise for Lex.
She's always been like a little sister to me. I can't say the same for Cameron though. The way he talks to her,the way he handles her,the way he scoops her in his arms every time something bad happens. Is it childish of me to get jealous of that? I know that I shouldn't but I just can't help it. What makes it worst is that they looked so good together. Don't get me wrong , I am quite proud of my looks.
Lucy Christiana Millan. I always had it all. Perfect parents, perfect school life, lots of friends but still I felt kind of hollow inside. Then one day, I discarded all those fake friends. I always had Lexie and I thought that she's the only one I would ever need. I did have one of those posh, snobby boyfriends at that time. Cameron O'Brian. A simple guy. Everything about him was normal. For some reasons,he always attracted my attention. Every small thing he did fascinated me and it was really annoying at first. With time, I've grown to like it. Keeping distances from him was easy as he would always stick by Lex's side. Back in school and college, Lexie was a total airhead and a nerd. She was loved by the entire school. Not because of her wealth surprisingly but because of her looks. As I said, she was a nerd but you would want to call her a classy nerd. White I was all brawns and beauty, she was all brains and beauty. Len never noticed how Cameron hovered around her and yet the entire school did. Believe me, I would never fight with my best friend because of a guy. I just wished that Lexie would hurry and notice Cameron or else his heart is going to break in a thousand pieces.
