(Third P.O.V)
Still bewitched by the young man's beautiful smile and words,Lexie was as if in a daze. All of the sudden she snapped out of her trance and said:
"I have to get going ,it's quite late."
"Surely,you might excuse yourself." He mumbled ,absentmindedly.
Without thinking ,Lexie slipped her card in Sebastian's large and calloused hands.
"Let's meet up for coffee." She smiled.
"Sure." That concluded the matter.
After that short conversation, Alexandria made her way home. As she was already tired she didn't bother having dinner and instead she climbed on bed. Before falling into deep slumber, her mind wondered to back when her parents were alive...
(Lucy P.O.V)
Finally home after a long day of work. We're not exactly communicating much these days. Cam,Lex and I, we've all been busy with work. I think we should take a day off and go eat someplace. I was about to change when my phone suddenly went off.
"Millan speaking."
"Lucy ? This is Mum,you gave to hurry back home !"
"What happened Mum ?"
"Your father collapsed!"
"W-What--"
"Yes. Please hurry home darling,I'm feeling all alone here." She sobbed.
"Okay. I'm coming as quickly as I can !"
After that I called my agents,informed them of my change of plans and went to Lexie's room. My Dad is literally my rock. The best dad anyone could ever ask for. He looked harsh on the outside but then again I was dad's little princess. I was always pampered and cherished. My dad never refused me anything but I knew my limits. He was the best. Glared at my boyfriend,threatened boys trying to court me,always tried to make me happy. When I would get crossed , he would buy me chocolate to bribe me. I can't lose him. I'm not ready. Not now. Not ever.
I knocked on Lexie's door and without waiting for a response, I opened it. Lex was fast asleep. I didn't have the heart to wake her up but I had to at least inform her that I'm leaving.
"Lex.... Lex. Wake up !"
"What ? Luce ? What happened?"
"I'm going home. Dad collapsed."
She sat on her bed and hugged me. Rubbing my back she said:
"Okay. Take care. Don't stay up till late at night. Keep calling."
I smiled and replied:
"I will."
(Third P.O.V)
After leaving Alex's room,Lucy went to pack her stuff. She would be leaving in approximately three hours. Even though it was late at night, she just couldn't sleep. Well the thought of losing her dear father quite terrified her. On the other hand Cameron was lazing on the couch,twiddling fingers. He who worked as an engineer had no other business. Cameron was always the one you could classify as 'the cute guy next door' or 'the yummy nerd' but even so he didn't have an ounce of arrogance or pride in his looks.
In Alexandria's case , well lets just say that she was having dreams about a certain snake-eyed young man.
