A dim light was visible in the darkness, engulfing the males senses as if it was the first time in a long time he seen such a thing. He reached out his hand or rather tried to with no success. His breath came out ragid, forced as he tried his best to make himself move, even so much as call out but to no avail. Something happened. He didn't know what, but something wasn't right. He was tired, unable to move, speak, even so much as hear over the ringing. 'Wha-what happened? Oh yeah, I... I was fighting... but who or better yet... what?" Without much thought, he passed out, the ringing in his ears fading... he was so tired.

~Three Days Later~

Beep. Beep. Beep.

It had been three days since the innocent. Deku was trying to protect a mother and her child from a falling building when the remainder of the structure exploded, causing massive amounts of large debris to rain over them. Todoroki was standing right next to the male before he took off to get them out of the way only to be buried in their place. It took hours of scavenging in order not to hurt the male further before he was taken out, resuscitated, and brought to the hospital where immediate surgery needed to take place in order to stop the internal bleeding, broken bones, and ruptured lung. Todoroki sat next to the bed, his hand placed over the males, dark bags underneath his eyes since he hadn't been able to sleep a wink. "Please wake up soon." He whispered everyday, using his free hand to wipe away any hair or sweat that managed to make its way onto the males face hoping to keep him comfortable.

Suddenly, the door opened, revealing a blonde male holding two cups of what appeared to be coffee and a couple of apples. He set Todoroki's share on the bedside table while he took his seat on the other side. "Eat." Bakugou  said annoyed as he took a massive chuck of his own apple. Bakugou couldn't say much as he had barely eaten anything the passed few days either. But the weight loss was starting to show and knew it would cause problems later on if something wasn't done about it. "No point in just sitting there and staring at him." He spoke the words quietly, looking down at Deku's unmoving hand with saddened eyes. 'Dammit wake up you shitty nerd. Don't you know how much we're worried.' He thought to himself before taking another bite.

~A Week Since The Accident ~

"Deku... Deku!"

"Midoriya!"

'Is... is this a dream?' Deku thought, unable to see anything through the darkness... he could just hear the voices. Slowly but surely, the darkness was beginning to fade, casting a white haze over him to the point it was almost blinding. He squeezed his eyes shut tightly over and over again until it got easier to handle, allowing him to open his eyes. The steady beeping of the machine was clear as day, the white paneled ceiling held his attention for quite sometime before he looking around the room to figure out where he was. He vision landed on two figures beside the bed, his eyes widening slightly at the realization of whom the figures were. "Todo~ Kach~" Tears immediately filled his eyes at the sight of the two of them. They were fast asleep, both holding his hands as they leaned against the bed. Suddenly, Bakugou moved blinking a bit before he yawned and looked toward him.

"Deku~" He spoke softly, standing up to lean closer to the male.

"Kacchan~" He said through the cracking of his voice before he was engulfed into the males strong arms. He could tell Bakugou was being careful not to harm the male which only made Deku's heart beat heavier. "It's okay, I'm okay." He whispered, wrapping his free arm around the male, a slight smile crossing his face. He was so happy to see them.

"Midoriya" Deku looked toward the source of the other voice to see Todoroki awake, surprised at the sight before him. It was made the tears fall down his cheeks.

"Todoroki~" He held out his other arm, holding onto both of the males as he cried. The emotions, the memories, he even remembered what the doctors were saying right before his surgery, it flooded his mind making it almost to much to handle.

"He may never walk again."

That one sentence bashed against his mind over and over again sending him into a bit of a panic attack. The two males noticed almost immediately, moving back so they could look into the males eyes. "Midoriya?" Todoroki said, holding the males hand firmly within his own. "Talk to us." He said softly while Bakugou sat back down in his seat, holding Deku's other hand.

"It's okay Deku, were right here." Bakugou tried to soothe the male the best way he knew how which wasn't much.

Deku shook his head. "I... I remember everything. I... I may never walk again." He cried, the tears dropped from his chin as his breathing hitched. "I... I can't be a hero anymore." The realization sunk in heavily with the three, Todoroki and Bakugou looked between each other before looking back at Deku.

"We won't let that happen." Todoroki said, reaching up with his free hand to wipe away the males tears from his cheeks. "We're going to help you okay? It may take time but you'll be a hero again." Bakugou looked at Todoroki with a look of 'Are you nuts half n half?' Before looking at the relief that came across Deku's face to hear what the male said.

Bakugou reached up with his free hand, wiping the tears from the males chin and neck. "We'll do our best to make it happen." He said unable to say he'll be a hero again. Deku let out a shaky, breathy laugh before gripping the males hands.

"Let's do it." He said sniffling.
