As he was wheeling himself to his last physical therapy appointment while still admitted into the hospital, Bakugou walked next to the male, hands in his pocket, his mind lost in thoughts about the incident... and how he was the one who pulled Deku from the deconstructed building after hours of searching. He remembered screaming at Deku to wake up, needed him to wake up, to tell him he was going to be alright... only to have him lay limp in his arms as he carried him to the nearest medic in order to get help. He didn't want to mention it to Deku, not yet. He didn't want to be the one to make him more upset than he has been the passed couple of weeks when he felt physical therapy wasn't progressing at all. He looked over to the green haired male, his heart beating a little heavier to see him look beaten down, as if he had already given up.
Suddenly and without warning, Deku stopped wheeling himself forward, stopping in the middle of the hallway, his eyes looking down to his knees. When Bakugou realized what happened, he walked back toward the male, got down onto one knee, placing his hands on the males. "Deku, what's wrong? Are you feeling any pain?" He asked, looking over the male but stopping once he seen Deku shaking his head, tears dripping down his chin. "Deku..." The blonde male said worriedly, reaching up to wipe away the tears before Deku spoke.
"Be honest with me Kacchan... is any of this working?" He said in a broken voice, Bakugou's eyes opened widely as if the smaller male could hear his thoughts. Deku lifted his head, showing how quickly his green eyes became swollen and red. "Do you think that I'll walk again?"
Bakugou hesitated. "Why-why do you say that?" He tried speaking before Deku gasped, covering his mouth with the back of his hand, his other in a fist against his leg. "Deku..." He brought his hands up to cup the males cheeks gently within them, wiping at his tears.
"Please... please just be honest with me... so I know if I'm just wasting my time here." He said through tiny gasps, trying to keep eye contact with him but kept blinking wildly as more tears were produced. "Please..." He begged quietly, tiny hiccups escaping him as he tried his best to regain composure over his emotions.
Bakugou gulped down the lump in his throat he didn't realized formed until he tried to speak. He looked away from the male to try and figure out how he was going to tell him. Slowly, he looked back into the males eyes, his piercing red ones softened as he spoke. "I don't know Deku. I honestly don't. The doctor said you would never walk again and I came to terms with that before you even woke up. But now you're awake and you were so determined to see it through, to make it happen despite what the doctor had to say and honestly, it inspired me." As soon as Bakugou spoke, Deku's eyes dropped closed as he cried a little harder. Kacchan took the males chin within his hand, making him look toward him. "I'm going to give this all a chance. I'm going to help no matter how you need me but I need to know that you want to do this. I'll push you until you collapse from exhaustion, I'll make you want to chase after me just to hit me, I'll even ask for you to dance with me so please... I need you to not give up."
Deku shook a bit due to his rising emotions but it didn't stop him from wrapping his arms around Kacchan's neck, burying his face into his shoulder, giving himself time to calm down. "Thank you Kacchan." He said brokenly, shutting his eyes tightly as Kacchan's arms went around his waist, pressing him against the larger male, calming Deku almost instantly. He felt warm. He felt safe. He truly felt better, better than he had since before the accident.
"Why are you thanking me? Isn't this what I'm suppose to do?" He couldn't help but smirk as he heard Deku let out a shaky laugh. 'God, it feels so good to finally hear your laugh again.' He thought to himself, holding the male just a little tighter. "Come on," He sighed, pulling the male back to look into his face, wiping away the tears as he stood. "Let's get in there." He walked down the hall, holding the door opened for the male with a determined grin on his face. He was going to see it through, he was going to get Deku to walk again, even if it was just two steps.

~Meanwhile, Todoroki's At Work~
Todoroki sat at his desk at the end of the day, filling out much needed paperwork about the events that took place on the day Midoriya was injured. Just the memory put a massive strain on him causing migraines. Todoroki felt guilty and forever would feel that way whenever he would see Midoriya in that wheelchair.
The paperwork was taking longer than expected to complete due to the ongoing headache, him checking his phone, even with other heros coming to him with questions or wanting his signature on their paperwork.
It was getting late, just a few more things to note and he would finally be done. Suddenly, his phone vibrated signalling he received a text. He put down the pen to grab his phone. It was from Bakugou.
<Deku fell asleep. He tried to wait up but he was exhausted.>
With the text came a picture of Deku fast asleep, holding onto Bakugou's hand. He couldn't help but smile which quickly turned to a frown when everything in him kept screaming that it was his fault that he was in such a position in the first place.
<I'm sorry I couldn't be there. I'm almost finished with my work and should be heading over there soon. Do you two need anything?>
He waited for the reply.
<A beer>
<You can't drink in the hospital Bakugou>
<Then don't ask me if I need anything half n half>
Todoroki sighed, setting the phone down and finished up what he needed so he could get back to Midoriya and Bakugou.

Bakugou's head was bobbing up and down, slowly losing consciousness as he awaited the other male to get back. He didn't like it when one or the other was gone for long periods of time, it made him feel uneasy, raising his anxiety. Without warning, a hand clasped against his shoulder making the male jump. Turning back to see Todoroki, he stood up quickly. "Couldn't you give a guy some warning?" He whispered annoyed, until he seen how stressed the male was starting to look.
"Sorry..." The larger male whispered, his gaze sort of off, like he was looking behind the blonde at something else altogether.
Bakugou sighed heavily, rubbing the back of his head roughly. "It's fine... why don't you take the spare bed tonight. You have work in the morning right?" He said, sitting back down in the chair, looking at Deku. "Make sure to text one of us if you're going to be late... Deku was worried." He never looked at the male again being as he was lying about Deku being the one worried.
Todoroki looked at Bakugou's head, wanting to reach out to him. He brought his hand up to do so only to put it back down at his side. "I'm sorry, to both you and Midoriya. Thank you." He said quietly, stripping off his work clothes and into sweatpants and a t-shirt before getting into bed and falling asleep with nothing else to say, Bakugou not far behind.
