Sunbeams peek through the trees
Shine through the branches
Cast gentle green rays on the forest floor
A fawn rests in the undergrowth, waiting for her mother
Midday and peaceful
A calm summer breeze drifts by
The scent of a stream, rich and clear
This place seems perfect
Yet underneath the luscious green, is a sad tale
One of fire
Of death
Of being reborn.
The forest has renewed itself
Though tainted by flames, the forest lives on
Calm and peacefully it started repairing and growing
And life returned in the eyes of the beholder
