I woke up, my eyelids felt heavy and my body felt tired. I closed my eyes.

Flashback

"Bye hun. Always be a good girl. Remember to protect your little sister" My mom and dad reminded.

We both hugged them. They kissed us on our foreheads.

"Elsa, Anna when I get back I'll bring you lots of chocolates and other surprises" My uncle Jesse said, ruffling our hair. We both giggled.

"Bye Honey, Love you" My uncle told Aunt Jocelyn as he kissed her.

"Eew, disgusting" Anna and I giggled.

"You're too young to understand" Aunt Jocelyn looked at us then back at Uncle Jess, "Love you too. Be safe. Have fun in Paris! We'll see you in 2 weeks"

And just like that they left. "So kiddies what should we do?" Aunt Jocelyn asked as soon as they left.

"We should eat some chocolates!" Anna exclaimed.

"Yeah! And I want to see you're highschool since I'm going to go there soon" I added.

"Sure! And we'll do lots of shopping!" Aunt said excitedly. "We'll have a great two weeks. Now go unpack your things. You both already know which room you're staying at right?

We both nodded. I can't wait for the souveneirs!

8 days later

"Mom and Dad will be home in 6 days Elsa" Anna shouted as she jumped on my bed.

There was a knock on my door. "Miss Anna, Miss Elsa, it's supper time. Please head down to kitchen"

"We're coming" I said as I rolled off my bed. We headed down to the kitchen.

"Chocolate cake!" Anna and I yelled at the same time. We ran to the counter.

Our Aunt stopped us "That's for dessert and you can eat as much as you want if you eat supper first"

We ran to the dining table. Eager to finish our food. Only to be surprised by a whole wack of vegetables.

"Eew, I don't want to eat this. I don't like eating vegetables. We should eat Lasagna instead!" Anna complained.

"I agree. I ain't eating that disgusting food" I said making a disgusted face.

"Then no chocolate cake for you!" My aunt chuckled.

"Noooo" We both whined in despair.

"Mrs. Jocelyn. Someone wants to talk to you," Josephine said handing her the phone.

She grabbed it"Thank you,"

"I wanna hear! Put it on speaker!!" Anna commanded.

"Okay kiddo" She said putting the phone on speaker.

"Hello" My aunt answered.

"Hi is this Mrs. Jocelyn Arelle, husband of Jesse Arelle" The person on the other line said.

"Yes" She answered with a weird look on her face.

"Are you related to Geremy Arelle and Kate Arelle?"

"My husband is Geremy's younger brother. I am the sister in law"

"Nice to meet you I am Benjamin Carllyle, head inspector of the police department here in Paris"

Anna and I looked at each other confused.

"Nice to meet you, can I help you with something?" Aunt Jocelyn asked. Her eyebrows were crinkled.

"There has been a car accident. 8 people were killed including your husband, as well as your family in law." The officer broke the news.

"Why?!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "Why am I cursed? Why'd you have to die?!"

I cried so hard, I fell asleep again without realizing it. I am exhausted of everything.
