Sal licked his scarred lips anxiously. He could do this. Just... Put sleeping meds in your neighbors tea and accuse them of murder the first day you've been here. A small part of him wondered if Larry was actually right in his suspicion of Charlie. In fairness Larry mentioned Charlie not liking him so maybe... But he'd seen the blood on the pony, and the fear on Larry's face. Not to mention… Larry just seemed like the kind of person who would be traumatized by accidentally killing someone's rabbit, not able to frame someone for murder. So Sal tentatively put a pill in the tea, and headed off to 204. Sal made sure the pill was dissolved before he knocked, listening for the thick toned "come in."

Sal walked in and felt his eyes widen as Charlie lurched forward in his stained recliner. Sal forced himself not to step back, nervous about someone at least 4 times his weight and apparently a murder leaning in. "Is that Addison tea I smell?!" He blinked in surprise, while the tea smelled gross it wasn't a strong smell by any means. But Sal nodded anyway, blue pigtails bobbing. "Yea, I figured I'd bring you a cup.. since he's trying a new recipe and you're his favorite client.." Sal held it out, dropping his hands when greasy large ones ripped the chopped cup from him and Charlie gulped it down. "Oooh this is somehow better! I- ZZZzzzz" those were more effective than Sal thought, but he turned and nudged the horse into a sandwich bag carefully using gloves, not wanting to somehow be linked.

Then he quickly left the room and contacted Larry back on the walkie talkie. "I got it dude." Larry's voice responded after a second of static "awesome little dude! I knew you could do it. Now the cops have to listen." Sal smiled under his mask, paying little mind to the uncomfortable shift of tender marred flesh. "Yea, I'll head down and let him know." Sal almost asked if Larry would be there, before shaking his head and clearing the thought. But as if a mind reader (which would be rad) Larry said "radical bro, I'll meet you there. The cops and shit can be douches." The reassurance of someone ready to stay by his side despite not knowing him well sent a small warmth budding in sals chest. "That's Larry, I appreciate it man." Then he took the elevator down, waiting for only a bit for Larry to join him on the main floor.

The duo made their way to the detective reviewing papers with furrowed brows. "Sir," Sal started. The detective glanced up, sharp brown eyes almost piercing sal. Then the gaze moved to Larry, and he sighed sharply. "Larry, I already told you without evidence there's nothing we can do. Dragging in people who weren't even here won't help-" "we have proof now." Larry said confidentially. The detective looked on the verge of amused before the seriousness of the case settled back again. "This isn't something to joke about." Sal raised and opened the lunch box, blood smearing a bit on the bag. "This was in Charlie's room, you can find little outlines where it was on his shelf." The detective paused, gave both of them a firm calculating look, then nodded. "Alright, I'll take it into the lab and we'll look into it. But please if you see evidence just tell us so you don't mess up a scene." Sal nodded, and the detective seemed satisfied despite Larry's grumbles about how he tried telling them.

I sat heavily on Larry's bed, falling back into it dramatically with my arms spread. "Dude.." I said, Larry responding with a smile and "dude." I pushed out a puff of air. "What if Charlie realizes it was me who took his pony and goes on a revenge scheme? I mean it's pretty obvious and he'd notice something he killed over gone." Larry frown and sat next to me. "Well little dude, I'd do what I could to protect you since I brought you into this mess." I smile, warmed by the sentiment before I point out "dude he'd snap you like a green bean. Larry snorted "asshole, see if I'm nice to you again." And gently nudge my arm with a grin. I laugh at my own joke along with larry, the most obvious sign of a fantastic joke of course.

Larry pops heavily down next to me, long Edward scissor like hands over his stomach, something I may tease him about later when we're more comfortable with one another. Then he speaks "dude if you spend the night here he can't even do shit since he doesn't have a card." I hum and nod "true-" before Larry continues "so just ask your parents if you can stay the night, I don't mind sharing a bed, or I have a beanbag." I laugh "damn can't say no to a bean bag." Earning a laugh from Larry. So after a quick goodbye I head up to my apartment and ask my dad if he doesn't mind. He's mostly focused on his computer but mumbled a distracted "go ahead, have fun bud." And I grab a change of clothes, my meds, and my eye drops before racing back to Larry. Despite the halls being barren it still felt like charlie would ominously appear and throttle me, then Larry would have a whole new murder to help solve.

But despite my wandering thoughts I make it down without incident, grinning as Larry greets me by blasting sanity falls. Tonight was gonna be rad, despite the shit that happened earlier.
