Chapter 3 - Assembly Time

" We have to hurry! If we're late, who knows what they'll do to us this time! " Isogai urged as he, Okano and Maehara were walking down the mountain as they had to attend a school assembly.

" Last time we had to clean out the main campus' flowerbeds. " Okano reminisced their punishment.

" Man, that was tough. Their flowerbeds are way too huge. " Maehara complained.

" You slacked off the entire time! " Isogai retorted as Maehara laughed it off.

" Did I? "

" Mo, why must we be the only ones who have to put up with this?! " Okano yelled out in frustration.

" I see. So that's what's going on. " Asuna hummed as she was with Nagisa, Kayano, Sugino, Kanzaki, Sugaya and Okuda.

" What do you mean? " Nagisa asked.

" If the other students on the main campus sees the rough time the E class has to go through, it motivates them to study better so that they won't end up here and get mocked for it. This is how the school gets its reputation for a lot of top students. " Asuna explained.

" Ne, Asuna, why didn't you just skip like Karma? " Kayano asked as everyone except Karma was going down the mountain to attend the assembly.

" Why? Hmm... " Asuna thought about her reason, " ...nothing really. Maybe because going down the mountain with a lot of danger seems fun! "

" Fun? " the others sweatdropped at her idea of fun.

Just then they heard buzzing to see that while they were walking, they had accidentally prodded a beehive.

" KYAAA! "

" Who prodded the beehive? " Sugaya yelled just as Okajima came running, snakes wrapped around him, his clothes drenched, a boulder chasing him along with the bees.

Nagisa's group sweatdropped as they watched Okajima run for his life towards the main campus.

" He's sure...gone through a lot. I hope he'll be okay. " Sugino said as the others agreed.

" That seems fun. Aw, I wished I experienced that. " Asuna pouted as the others fall anime style at her obliviousness to the danger of what Okajima went through.

Nagisa's group panted except for Asuna who was hanging on a tree branch. Everyone was on the ground, tired.

" Oh...please no more bees or anything else... " Okuda pleaded.

" Luckily Okajima took the brunt of it for us. " Sugaya said gratefully.

" Are you guys alright? " Karasuma asked, unharmed and unfazed.

" Peachy! " Asuna grinned as she hung upside down the branch, her legs clinging onto it.

" There's no need to rush. We will arrive with plenty of time at this pace. " Karasuma checked his watch.

" Hold on you brats! " Irina's voice was heard, shouting at them as she collapsed on her knees in front of them.

" No one told...me about a class trip...during lunch break... " Irina panted.

" Wow, you're a mess, bitch-sensei. " Sugino remarked as Irina glared at him.

" It's extra tiring to run in heels! " Irina retorted as Asuna nodded.

" I second that! Which is exactly why papa made me run in heels when I was younger to get use to it. " Asuna agreed.
