the freckled boy says.
we're sat in the same room as always. always at ians place with the rest.

"oh yeah,," i see ian frown a bit as he breathes that out. i feel a confused look grow across my face then the boy starts to speak again.

"i have to go back home,,"

"oh, you don't live here in texas?"
i speak out suddenly.

"no,, it sucks. i don't wanna leave here, i've been having so much fun with you guys!"

my happiness i has before suddenly disappears. i never had a strong connection towards this boy but i wanted more.
i've always been to scared to start something with him, even a good friendship.

"i'm sorry you have to go."

matt picks up the disappointment in my voice and tries his best to make light of the conversation.

"it'll be okay, i'll keep in touch as much as possible."

he gives a reassuring smile which gives me a little more hope in us.
