Ohhhemmmmgeeee!!! major apologies for not updating last week...ha! as if anyone reads this other than my friends but anyways...exams week was last week and all I could say was that last week was literal hell...every single fricking day had an exam and my brain box was not prepared for such torture...anyways...I should really stop boring you guys with my life, eh?
Chapter nine:
"A dance?" Rain asked as I followed her downstairs
"Max thought it was a thoughtful apology for the messed up group date you and Lia had last time" I explained
"Thoughtful my butt, I don't want to dress up Sammy" she sighed
"You will look wonderful Rain, after we get our hair done and we buy dresses" I smiled
"Don't tell me I have to wear heels!" she groaned
"It's a ball Rain, obviously, we have to look nice" I exclaimed
"Did I say I hate you?" she asked
"Countless times Rain" I rolled my eyes
"Well, I hate you" she exclaimed
"I heard Rainna saying she hates you, what is it this time?" Lia ran down the stairs
"I told her about the ball and she doesn't want to come" I pouted
"It doesn't work for you sis, and why? it would be fun if we could dress up once in a while Rain" Lia persuaded our brunette friend
"You like going to the ball?" Rain asked
"Honestly, no, but I do want to get my hair done and get new stuff" Lia went to the fridge and grabbed a pack of Oreos
"Typical" Rain rolled her eyes
"So? Are you in or out?" I asked
"I guess so" she sighed
"Yay! I'm going to get dressed and stuff, see you two in a bit!" I ran to room to change from my pajamas and into proper casual wear
"I think we should change too" Lia suggested
"How about this?" Lia asked as she stepped out of the changing room in a sky blue cocktail dress
"Sky blue isn't your color Li, how about pastel pink?" I held out a knee length dress with ruffles on the edge of the dress
"You always stereotype me as a girly girl" she frowned
"Because you are" I retaliated
"Doesn't mean I have blonde hair, I have to a barbie doll...I have freaking green eyes!" she laughed
"Are you supposed to be angry or comical?" I asked
"Just give me the dress Sam" she reached out her hand for me to give her the dress
"I knew you'd give in" I smiled smugly and waited for her to finish putting on the dress
"Hey, what about me?" Rain frowned
"We'll just fit you in a cute little black dress and heels and you are done" I assured
"Girls and shopping" she rolled her eyes and put on her headphones
"Shut up Rainny, look over some dresses, wear some heels! Try on makeup" I suggested as I tried to remove her headphones from her head but she kept slapping her hand
"Would you pay me one million dollars if I do that?" she asked
"No, but I'd pay you one dollar" I chuckled
