Shaley POV

My eyes started to finally open up

It was still blurry to me

I could hear people talking

And machines beeping

I looked around to see that I was in the hospital

And as I turned to the side It was David right next to me on the chair sleeping

A nice nurse came in and was checking the machine I was hooked up to

She whispered softly "Looks like somebody is finally awake"

Then she proceeded to nod her head towards David

"He hasn't left since he bought you here, you're a very lucky girl"

The nurse then left and David started to open up his eyes

His eyes widen as he saw me awake

and gave me a big hug "shaley, I was so worried"

I softly spoke "What happened?"

David hesitated to answer

"I came by your apartment, and you were crying. You passed out in my arms ."

David face went pure white and looked as if he was gonna cry

I raised my arm up to rub his cheek

The doctor then proceeded to come in

"I see someone is finally awake, I sent the pharmacy a prescription of medication that should be ready in an hour. But other than that you are all ready to go home."

I told the doctor thank you and got up slowly while David helped me up.

I had closed the curtain and went into the bathroom

I felt so weak I could barely move

I cracked open the door and whimpered to David who was on his phone

"D-David, can you help me?"

David quickly got up from where he was sitting "yeah, of course"

He walked into the bathroom and I shut the door

He started to untie the back of my hospital gown

I put on my panties and he helped me clip my bra

I grabbed the black tank top and as David was putting the shirt over me

His beautiful warm hands hugged my waist

I felt safe in his arms

In the moment it felt like it was just the two of us

I turned around and smiled at David "What was that for?"

He grabbed my hand and kissed it softly "you saved my life in so many ways...thank you".

I started to tear up but quickly wiped it away so he wouldn't see

We should get going then, I asked

"Y-yeah, lets go" he replied

David Grabbed my bag and his backpack and we headed to his Tesla

Before we made it outside a doctor came running inside

The doctor gestured David to come to the side to talk.

"There is a bunch of paparazzi outside surrounding your car, go around the back and pick her up there instead."

David nodded his head and went outside

Did he just leave me?

The doctor then told me to go around the back door

Which I ended up doing, not knowing why

As soon as I opened the door David pulled up fast

There were Paparazzi running and taking pictures of us

I had so many questions

I got in the car and David drove off speeding like crazy

"You're going to get us killed" I yelled out.

We quickly turned into an alley and we stopped knowing they weren't gonna catch up

"I'm sorry about that Love, I didn't know what else to do." David said

I looked at David "are you embarrassed of me ?"

He turned and looked at me dead in the eyes

"No it's nothing like that at all"

I felt more tears about to leave from my eyes

"I want you to meet my friends"

The words that came out of David's mouth had me shocked

"W-what?" My mouth trembled

He nodded his head

I slowly agreed, "when?"

"Today-yy...¿" he sounded unsurely hoping I say yes

"Can I get ready first?" I asked him

David leaned over and kissed my cheek "take your time beautiful"

And so then we drove off going back to my place

Nerve racking due to the thought of meeting people that mean so much to him

Then there's me...a random stranger.
