Age of Orion

Chapter 1

All I see upon waking up is tall and white brick walls with chandeliers lighting up the room. Dazed and confused I try standing up from where I had been sleeping, only to have hands push me back down. I would fight back if i wasn't weakened from that whole event that happened prior. Wait... Mama and Papa, they're dead, and not coming back. If they didn't die from the attack, they were surely dead from the fire. Tears start to swell up in my eyes. Know that I'm thinking about it, Where even am I? Who touched me seconds ago?

"Hey," A stern and deep voice said to me, "look at me in the eye."

Afraid of what would come next if I didn't listen, I obliged.

"K, you're not like the other one," He made a head gesture towards the other side of the room. There was a blonde tall guy sitting across the room. Two other people had weapons pointed at him. They were talking but I can't really make out what they are saying.

"How do you know him?"

"I don't."

"Lies." They weren't. I have never seen this man in my life, but I didn't say anything. I was still too afraid, "We found him in the same household as you."

"I- I ha-" I'm dumbfounded at this point.

"Speak up," He sounded impatient, "Since you are human, we are under the law that we can't hurt you."

"I swear I have never seen that man in my life." I said it so loud a couple of other people looked over.

"Ok. I bele-"

"I swear! Please I'm not working with hi-"

"I believe you." His voice sounded annoyed at this point. I stayed quiet so that I didn't cause another outburst, "Well we have some bad news and some good news.

"The bad news is that your family is dead, and we couldn't find any relatives that were not also dead. The Good news is that you are alive. If it makes you feel any better we still found this intact scarf. Ivan wanted to keep it for himself, but he found you still alive."

"Ok, what now?"

"You will go downstairs to Ivan. He will show you around and take you to your room. You will dress into your protective clothes and Ivan will take you to the training room."

"What?"

"You are now apart of the League of Orion. It's not like you have anything else to be anymore."
