"What was that?" asks Colby, looking away from the screen. He glanced at the ceiling and paused, waiting for a few seconds to see if the thump would happen again.
"It's the ghost, dude." replies Aaron, who was still infused with the TV. "Come on, dude. You're missing game play."
"Yeah- you're right. Sorry." says Colby, as he unpauses his controller and gets back into the game. His team was down four players and one point away from actually winning the match, so he got reabsorbed back into the game.
<noise from somewhere above them>
"There it is again!" says Colby, pausing his controller again. He glances around the room, expecting to identify the noise quickly.
"Your being paranoid." says Aaron.
