-McKennas POV-

Klaus kisses my cheek before setting a plate of pancakes in front of me on the table.

"Chocolate chip, M&M pancakes, your favorite. Exactly three and 1/3s of pancakes." Klaus ruffles my hair and I laugh.

"How do you remember?" I smile up at him.

"How could I forget?"

I smile and shake my head. "Are the twins still asleep?"

"Yeah. They'll probably be asleep for another twenty minutes or so." Klaus sits across from me and stares at me.

I cock my eyebrows at him and give him a weird look. "What?"

"I wonder if you could get pregnant again? Because your a hybrid."

"No." I laugh. "I died Klaus."

"What if we could get someone to do -"

"Klaus." I shake my head. The way he's talking about this seems like he wants it really bad. "We have two amazing, beautiful baby girls sleeping up stairs right now. We can worry about having more kids in the future. When it's safe..." I sigh and shake my head.

Both of our gazes snap up to the door way when someone clears their throat. Elijah is standing in the door way with the twins climbing around on him. Nessa is trying to climb her way up his shoulder and Althea is trying to squirm down out of his arms.

"They're defiantly McKennas kids." Elijah groans and shrugs Nessa down into his hold again. He walks to us, trying to keep the twins from dropping from his hold. They're groaning and screaming 'no' as Elijah walks towards us.

"I take that as a compliment." I smile and reach my arms out. Elijah hands me Nessa. She grabs my hair that's held up in a messy bun and pulls at it.

I suck in a tight breath and shake my head. "Mmmm" Nessa mumbles and places an opened mouth kiss on my forehead. "Mo-mma."

I smile and look up to Klaus.

"Did you hear her?? She said Momma Klaus!"

"Yep. I taught them both who you were." Rebekah walks into the small kitchen, suddenly making it slightly claustrophobic. "I would show them pictures of you two and taught them that you were momma and dadda."

I feel tears prick my eyes as I look up at Rebekah. "Thank you. Thank you so much."

Rebekah just smiles at me. I kiss Nessas forehead and set her in the ground since she keeps repeating 'down down'

It's so weird how I've missed so much. At least I haven't missed their first steps yet. But I missed their first words, first time crawling, standing up, etc.

But at least I'll be here for more things, bigger things. At least I hope I will.

Nessa crawls over to a sliding glass door where Althea is sitting, banging on the glass.

"Bir bir!" Althea squeals and goes to hit the glass again but instead it explodes outward into the grass with a loud shattering noice

I scream and the twins scream to. I run over to them in a half of a second, so does Klaus. I pick up Nessa and Klaus picks up Althea.

"Oh my baby girl." I hush and rock Nessa in my arms. She whimpers into my chest and grips my dark grey thin t-shirt. I feel little wet spots through my shirt, making me even sadder. My poor baby girl.

"Rebekah has she ever does this before?" Klaus asks as he comforts Althea.

She frantically shakes her head no, covering her mouth with her hands.

"I had no idea they could do that.." Rebekah is noticeably shaking as she walks over to us. "Oh my god.."

I look down, Nessas arm is bleeding. I choke back my tears and stand up off the ground, holding my scared brown haired baby girl. Althea is holding onto Klaus's dark maroon shirt, saying 'dd' over and over again.

I walk to the wood counter and lay Nessa down on it. I wet a paper towel and start to wipe her cut on her arm.

"Is she okay?" Klaus asks, walking towards us. Althea grabs my light blue, low V-cut shirt and pulls on it. Her other hand is now occupied by her mouth. She has her thumb in her mouth and her eyes are wide and grassy green.

"She will be. She's a Mikaelson.." I whisper.

___________________________________________________________________________________________

Klaus kisses down my bare stomach, making shake lightly. I haven't been able to feel this connection for months. It's like the mate bond was gone along with our babies.

I grab klaus's forearms and pull him back up to my face. I kiss his soft pink lips and bite his bottom lip. He smirks and I let go of his lip.

"There's my girl."

I laugh and start to mess with his belt on his pants.

"Hold on." Klaus laughs and sits up. "We'll get there, but right now I have a surprise."

I huff and sit up, my elbows supporting me. "Klaus..."

"Ken shush. I've been waiting to give this to you."

I sit up against the dark oak head board and watch as Klaus walks across the bedroom and opens up a little chest on the far table. He takes something out of it and walks back over to me.

"We weren't on good terms when it was your birthday... so this was never given to you. I never knew the right time. But I don't think they'll ever be a right time to give you this. Today is a good enough day. We got our babies back. Sure it's still not safe but it's safe enough to bring them back now, as long as it's under wraps. Your humanity is back on, no more ripper wolf." I laugh and bite my lip. Klaus walks closer to the bed and I see in his hands is a small black, velvety box. "And we're finally on good terms. We aren't fighting and that hasn't happened in the last eight months..."

"I'm sorry.."

Klaus hushes me and sits down on the bed.

"McKenna I love you. I always will...please Marry Me."
