" I still don't think that's a good idea jasmine , don't wanna cause her confusion , when she have to leave" Odell explain mixing his protein shake

" don't wanna confuse her , you sound real stupid right now, do you hear yourself" I say folding her arms

" after court tomorrow, I'll think about it considering how well it go" he say sipping his drink

Minutes later Monae came walking in the Kitchen and she sits next to me and I smile at her and she stares at her father closely

" Goodmorning , you hungry , how about some cereal" I say walking to the refrigerator

" when me and my mama used to be home we would watch Court shows and have little conversations about them , why is we going to court" she ask making me stop what I was doing and look at her

" excuse me" Odell say frowning  his face

" I over heard you and jasmine talking , you said something about court is that's why I haven't seen my mother" she ask not taking her eyes off him

" it's complicated Babygirl you wouldn't understand"

" wouldn't understand what , you taking me from my mother" she say with anger and a upset tone

" I think you better change that tone in your voice before you upset me"

Jordan walks in and he stop and scratch the back of his neck and he look between his father and sister

" you got it all wrong daddy , this is your family jasmine and Jordan , my mother is my family , I wouldn't take you away from yours so why take me away from mines" she ask again as a tear fall from her eyes

" I don't want to be here , yes I love you jasmine and Jordan but I also love my mother with all my heart , I deserve to be happy with her , this is not my home, you don't have to worry about the cereal jasmine I'm not hungry" she say leaving the kitchen

I closed the refrigerator and I looked at Odell and shook my head and he looked towards the door way where she left

" she just like her mother man , can't deny that at all" was all Odell said

" I think she should go back with her mother , I'm not with you on this case you caused enough pain Odell , too much" I say leaving the kitchen

Like I said before I was helping Rosa get her daughter and I meant that monae has been the best she could not seeing your mother in almost 3 months was not okay

I walked upstairs and into her room and she sat on the floor and I heard her sniffles I closed the door and sat next to her and rubbed her back

" look here your mom coming down here tomorrow, and you'll get to be with her that's a good thing" I say smiling

" I want to stay with her , I don't want to be here , is my papa still coming to get me today I have my bag packed" she ask wiping her tears

" yes he's on his way , wanna wait downstairs and wait for him" I asked

" no I'll stay up here , can I be alone" she asked looking up at me
