A soldier could be fighting,
A soldier could be crying,
A soldier could be winning,
A soldier could be dying,
A soldier could be twenty,
A soldier could be cooking,
A soldier could be thirty,
A soldier could be looking,
A soldier could be ugly,
A soldier could be tall,
A soldier could be pretty,
A soldier could be small,
A soldier could be married,
A soldier could be sad,
A soldier could be 'daddy',
A soldier could be bad,
But if we are or aren't,
Let it be known world-wide,
You will become a soldier,
No matter where you hide.
