" Where the hell am I "

I got up from lying on top of a pile of hay.

That was some fall. Man, last thing I remember the ground had turned black and I was sucked into it even though I flew up.

This area, kinda looks like clover but then it doesn't, man, the people here sure are late on fashion, their clothes style died like a decade ago.

" Etsu "

I turned to where I heard the voice saying my name.

" Oh, Echo "

" You wouldn't believe it but guess where we are " - Echo

" Clover kingdom ? "

" Wrong ! Well... Right but not completely " - Echo

" Get to the point "

" Okay , we have time traveled back into the past " - Echo

" Wow seriously ! "

" Yeah ! " he says with excitement whilst I look blankly at him.

" Do I look stupid "

" No but you've kinda made me feel stupid for fooling me " - Echo

" Time travelling isn't scientifically possible, even the strongest of mages could never... I mean... there's just so many bad things that could happen, have you heard of the butterfly effect? Not even The Wizard could pull a stunt like this.... I think"

" I know.. actually I don't know about that but just believe me! We're seriously in the past " - Echo

I looked at him with a blank expression, it's a little hard to believe but that does explain the old fashion.

" Okay fine, we're in the past, how do we go back to our time era before we mess things up "

" I don't know I've never gone time traveling before, all I know is that it has something to do with the black hole that took over the kingdom and the gold butterflies " - Echo

" You mean rukh "

" Yeah that " - Echo

" What do you mean the rukh had something to do with this? "

" Well when The black hole appeared from under me, I started floating without any magic, then I was surrounded with the golden butterflies, I thought you were the one protecting me " - Echo

" I'm confused ", I say looking at him questionably , " I wasn't even near you to send ruhk your way so it wasn't me"

" Hey ! You damn rascal ! "

A guy with blonde hair ran down the street laughing like a childish maniac being chased by a cart owner who was holding a piece of wood in his hand.

" What even is that ugly looking creature following the blonde dude "

What Echo said made me look in the direction he was looking at, and the creature I saw made me speechless.

" No way "

I immediately ran after the blonde guy,

" Wait ! "

Echo said soon following me.

" Why are you chasing him " - Echo

" I need to know who he is "

" Did you want his ugly pet ? " - Echo

" No... but something about it gives me a weird feeling that I'm not exactly sure of. All I know is that I'm drawn to it "

I say as we both chased after the mysterious man and his demon looking let. As we tailed the two, they both had jump at a high distance, and the pet had emitted very familiar butterflies.

" That can't be "

I tried to wrap my head around what I just saw, and even tried to play it off as my own imagination, however, more butterflies, dark black butterflies to be exact, had came from the pet.

It was definitely rukh.

" That thing... it's a genie "

" That's what genies look like ! Your ancestors are ugly " - Echo

I rolled my eyes

" I'm not entirely sure if it is one or not since I believe genies came in different forms, but I definitely saw rukh coming from that thing. "

" Why are we chasing him ? " - Echo

" My dad has hesitated of telling me real in-depth information about our genie lineage, I've actually never met someone with genie abilities besides my own father. Maybe this guy has more answers to some of my questions "

We were lead to a dead end of an ally way and searched for the man around us. " you guys have been following me for a while now, why " the blond man had said from on top of the building roof next to us.

He jumped down and grabbed Echo by his collar.

" calm down, these are the guest I've been talking about " said the blonde mans pet coming out from behind him.

" THE PET TALKED ! " - Echo

Suddenly we were surrounded by a light and found ourselves in yet another location.

Is this... my house ?.

I think it's been almost 2 years hahaha sorry, I really lost motivation for this story, however, as annoying as it is. I will try pick this story back up as I have started watching the anime again ( I've read the manga already tho ) which has sparked my inspiration once again.

Thank you all to have read this and commented ! I see everything and always laugh :).

Also apologises for how bad this story is written in general haha. I'll be going back and fixing things.
