Misbelief

You told me once,

I've got chance;

You said I can,

So I believed it then.

But when I struggle,

You make it harder;

When I'm failing,

It feels so degrading.

One mistake and I'm dead,

I can't win, enough said;

Explanation? You need not bother,

What for? You'll only get judged after.

Been living in a world like this,

Take me out of here, please?

Been caught up in this game,

Rescue me just the same.

I should be strong, at least I'm trying

But you see, it isn't everything;

I am also human, capable of tiring,

I may be even weaker than what you're expecting.

I may seem tough, maybe not,

But yes, I've been through a lot;

Pain, sorrow I can keep,

I'll just cry myself to sleep.
