Part 3

On the dinner table,she don't bother to wait for him,she just serve him and start eating and after finishing two rotis she only spoke,when are you going to sign the divorce papers and we need to contact a lawyer as well.

that hurt,Shaurya don't know why but it hurts,he knew this is the reality.She gonna leave him but...

''hmm...we are going to the lawyer's office tomorrow.Be ready.''-He spoke with a heavy voice and start to leave his chair.She hold his hands and ask him,-''where are u going?finish it off.''

''I don't feel like eating,plz you continue. I'm fine.''

Before Mehak can retort he leave the dinning room to his room.he reached his room and move back and said-Mehak,we have plenty of rooms here,you don't have to live in the same room,you can use any spare room.

''but,shaurya ji....''

''it's alright ,you will be more comfortable there.'' saying that he leave.

Laying down on his bed,his head rested on the headrest,he was in his thoughts of past one week,how Mehak and his life changes after that wedding night.

*flashback*

one the second morning when shaurya came down the hall he was well aware seeing the panic sticken face of Mehak.what had happened to her,did she tell his parents about their truth or something else.

''Mehak..kya hua?''(Mehak...what happened?)''are u alright?''

Shaurya ji auntie want me to make something for some ritual....pheli rasoi something.

''huh...so what...why are u so worried then,make anything.''he told her casually.

Mehak gave him an angry glare....''kaise banau...mujhe chai orr maggie ke alawa kuch bnana nhi aata''(i don't how to make anything except tea and maggie).

''oh..acha...so what we have plenty of solutions,not big deal.''

''like what''-Mehak asked him impatiently.

''Google it,dumbo.''

''how dare u,you moron....how dare u call me dumbo...you stupid fellow.''

''ohk,ohk calm down....im sorry dumbo...''seeing the murderous glare he corrects.''.i apologise....it's Mehak...now and forever.''

''good.....''saying this she quickly try to google some quickly made sweet dish.

''oh god...itne saare hai kya banau mein??''(there are so many ...what should i make then?)-Mehak was more confused seeing the numerous dished over internet.

''Mehak...let me help you....let's make kheer.''

''tumhe cooking aati hai''-Mehak was happy to know that he knows cooking.

''i'm not great but definately better than you...he teases her.

''shut up....''Mehak told him.

''let's go to the kitchen then.but Mehak...please don't let Maa know about this.''

She nodded and after 50 minutes Mehak and Shaurya finishes off their dish.it was 20 minutes dish but rest 30 minute went in their fights...Mehak ask him to use butter but Shaurya told her cake ka batter nhi hai kheer hai,it should made with this ghee,desi ghee.shaury ask her to chop dry fruits but she ask him to do it as her nail polish got tainted if she use this sharp knife,all she wanna do is mix everything but finally after all are the fights kheer completes....Shaurya leave and Mehak came to the dining in order to serve for his parents.

''Auntie,uncle....come''-Mehak say when she say shaurya parents came near the dinning.

''Maa....''Shaurya's mother correct her.''and papa for me...no uncle...''Yash cheerfully told Mehak.she nodded and ask them to sit.

Karuna ask the servant to call shaurya and after Shaurya came,Mehak serve them .

haan haan bataiye how it tastes-Shaurya asked them winking at Mehak.

....first Yash taste it and give a warm smile-''its excellent beta.''

''really dad,wait i'll serve more''-Mehak told him.

''no,beta,i wanna taste just one spoon only....i have diabetes...jyada sweet is not good for me''..he replied and leave to attend a phone call.

Karuna maa taste the dish next...Mehak very excitedly wait for her reaction,''Shaurie cheeni orr namak ka farak krna abhi bhi nhi sikha naa tu''(you are still not able to differentiate between salt and sugar)...

Shaurya and Mehak felt the deer caught by the lion.Shaurya felt bad as his mother knows Mehak is not able to complete the ritual......

....but i'm happy that you help my bahu...such a loving husband u r ...im proud of you and seeing the sad face of Mehak she told her aur Mehak yeh sirf ek ritual hi toh hai(it's just a ritual only)...i assure you ek din tu mujhe bhi acha khana banayegi. (one day,you'll make more tastier food than me)....

Ab chalo you two,eat come sit...she serve then in one plate and ask them to feed each other.      They are uncomfortably sit beside each other.

Shaurya take a morsel and for a second he lost in her eyes...humm..humm..hearing karuna he quickly put it in Mehak's mouth and smile at her...and as a reward Mehak bite his fingers hardly.

ahh....Shaurya shouted.

''Shaurie kya hua...''Karuna was concerned..

''kuch nhi maa....bss yun hi.''Shaurya glared back towards Mehak when she fakes a big smile.

Shaurya chuckles..yeh ladki bhi naa....and then his trance broke hearing her voice.

you want anything....Shaurya ask her.

''Good night,Shaurya...ji.''

''Good night Mehak.''
