It had been hours that they searched the fair grounds for a blue haired woman so he at least had one clue. The girl that Tahnah and Hamani saw in the bathroom took Anyae or at least is involved in his wife's disappearance. It may have not been much info but it was better than nothing and it at least put them in the right direction to finding her. Slight anger coursed through him at the thought. Wherever that bitch took his wife he at least knew that she wasn't on the fair grounds anymore.
Both of Constantine's cousins looked at him in worry before he left but he paid their looks no heed. If he gave into the worry and anger he felt, it would distract him from finding her. On the inside he felt panic, anger, and frustration. But on the outside he was just as calm and cold as a mountain. He had already left the fair and by the time he got home his mother and father were waiting at his house.
As soon as he stepped into the living room his mother had him wrapped tightly in a hug and his father had gave him a look of concern and thin veiled anger.Once Mrs. Macheibriegh let Constantine go he took an even breath and looked between the two of them,"Who told you two?"
"Your cousins, called us just before you got home."
Constantine grit his teeth and inwardly cursed. Why the hell did they go do that? It's not enough that they have to worry about what Ermmano's next move would be concerning our family but now this! I'll have to have a talk with those two later...
Mr.Macheibriegh regarded his son, assessing how he was until he spoke," So when were you going to tell us about the ambush?"
Constantine scowled and went to pacing around restlessly,"Oh Christ they told you that too? What do they report to you two now?"
Kendra's gaze hardened in offense," They are not reporting to us like spies! They only told us what was happening for the concern of their cousin. Because they know if they were to even think about asking you how you truly were that you wouldn't tell them anything and would eventually stop associating with them!"
Emilio was still as calm as a light breeze," We would have ended up finding out anyway so I see no need for a temper tantrum."
Constantine whipped his head to look at his father and deadpanned at him.
Emilio met his gaze and sighed,"Sit down son."
Constantine reluctantly sat down next to his mother and ran his hands through his hair in frustration,"I just-," Kendra lay a hand on his shoulder,"Why didn't you tell us Con? We are your parents, you can tell us anything."
He gave his mom a look and she blushed and laughed a little.
"Ok well maybe not everything but we are a family and though you may not be a child anymore we still had a right to know what was happening in your life."
Constantine shook his head,"Not like this. I appreciate the concern you two but I can handle this on my own. I made a point not to tell you because both your hands are already full with the Ermmano situation. She's my wife, I'll handle this on my own understand?"
Emilio gave a chuckle and a proud glint shone in his eyes at that,"We have no doubt you'll handle things on your own. We just came over to see how you were. You know how your mother gets when stuff like that happens if it involves you."
Constantine nodded and stood up and bid them goodnight as they left. Once he was alone with his thoughts he sat back down and ran through possible places she may be when it hit him. Earrings!!! Those earrings he gave her to put on this morning were implanted with a little tracking device inside just behind the diamond and practically invisible to the anyone who cared to look. Getting up he hurried up the stairs to his study and pulled up the tracking location that the earrings were currently sending. They were halfway across town at Palmer's Drive. A quiet neighborhood. Who the hell would take her there? He assumed the blue haired woman was somebody's lackey sent to do the dirty work of kidnapping. Most of the time his assumptions were right. So while he wracked his brain for who could have ordered her taken it came to mind to call a friend.
As quick as he could he called up Dominic and as soon as he answered he greeted him.
<Phone Convo>
"Hello Dominic, look I need your help with something."
"Hey Con, what can I help you with today?"
"My wife was kidnapped today at the fair and I'm calling to figure out who may done it. Is there anything else you can tell me about Anyae's father?"
"Yes there is one thing. He had struck a deal with you and another man by the name of Adriano Gardell. Ring a bell to you?"
"Yeah but what was the deal he struck?"
"Wendell promised her to him too but you met her first and in his attempts to get away from the other people he owed, he forgot about the deal. There had been rumors down there that Adriano his eye on your wife but I only took them for rumors and didn't bother you with them."
"Adriano...the drugs dealer I appointed to run that part of the business?"
"That's him."
"Damn...so he had been under my nose the entire fucking time, watching my wife and me. Waiting for an opportunity to take her."
"Looks that way."
"Mm thank you Dominic. I owe you one."
"No consider us even. Ciao."
"Ciao."
<End of Phone Convo>Now to come up with a plan...
