Two weeks later
----------------------------------------------

"Have you packed your bags for the tour." Joey asked on the other line.

We are having a class tour to Paris this weekend and I haven't packed yet.

It's Thursday today and we got a day off school.

I was just laying on my bed when my phone rang and it was Joey.

"No I haven't, it's not until Saturday. I still have two days, how about you?" I asked while standing up walking to my window.

It's been a week since that Jacob kid came to my house and I have to admit it's kinda weird not having him around now.

"I'm busy, well just started you wanna come over and help me?" he asked and a smile creepd onto my face.

Yes Joey and I have been friends for a long time but he doesn't treat me as one, he treats me more like a girlfriend if I can put it that way.

Our friends have been asking why aren't we dating because we'd make a cute couple.

I have never seen Joey as someone more than just a friend to me. He's like a brother to me and I don't want to lose that.

"Sure I'll be there in a few." I answered and seconds later we ended the call.

I grabed my car keys and walked downstairs. "Mom, I'm going to Joey's to help him pack. I'll be back before dinner."

I walked out and got into my car. From the corner of my eye I saw a pair of legs wearing a pair of black jeans.

"You missed me?" his voice said gently. It was him, Jacob.

"OH, hey." I said driving out of my driveway. "Didn't see you there."

He just smiled and turned his head to look out the window.

"Where have you been lately?" I asked breaking the silence.

He turned to look at me. "Hanging out with my family, they have just returned from France." he said and I nodded.

"I hear you are going to Paris for a class tour." he said staring a little longer than I think he intended to.

"How did- oh wait I forgot your a vampire you know everything." I said chuckling at the end.

"Got that right." he smiled and just put on the radio.

He is a very quiet guy, I'm guessing that's how they are. Don't talk to humans that much or at all.

The drive wasn't that long till I parked in Joey's driveway.

I saw the front door open and he was waiting outside like he always does when I come over.

I waved at him and he waved back.

"Wait, can he see you too?" I asked looking at Jacob.

He shook his head "Only you can see me because I allow you to see me."  he said and I nooded.

"So-"

"You don't have to worry, I need to go anyway so I'm leaving you two alone." he cut me off with a little chuckle.

I said my goodbye and walked over to Joey.

"Hey, why were you talking to yourself in the car?" he asked and I was shocked.

"Um, I was talking to my mom on speaker." I tried to lie but I could see he didn't buy it.

"I don't believe but Imma leave it at that, come in." he walked in and we went up to his room.

Jacob's POV

"Where were you. The Grey Eyes found out about your visit at that little human's house." Caroline growled as I came in to the house.

"Hello to you too." I greeted then our parents and the rest of the camp came in.

"That's enough. Is Tara safe?" my mother asked as she sat down next to my sister.

I nodded "She is going on a class tour to Paris this weekend and she just when to one of her friends house to help him pack." I finished.

"Are they alone at home." my dad came in.

"Yeah."

"That's not safe. The Grey's Eyes are around in town and they can sence them anywhere." Bryce said.

"I know, that's why I was with her in the car on her way to his house, and I saw some of them on the way too." I said walking out of the house.

Tara's POV

"Red or black." Joey asked holding up two t-shirts.

"Black." I pointed to the one but he oacke in both. "What the fuck." I laughed and so did he.

But it wasn't long till we heard something break downstairs.

"Stay here, I'll got check." Joey whispered but I shook my head. "I'm coming with, I don't want anything happening to you"

He nodded knowing even if he said no again I would come anyway.

We went slowly down the stairs and we saw the vase with his mother's plans on the floor shattered everywhere.

Joey looked back to me with a confused looked before someone grabbed him from the back.

I quickly got a glimpse of the person or should I say vampire's eyes and they were Grey.

Before I could also make a move someone grabbed my arms behind my back.

It looked like the whole kind, there were fifteen to twenty of them, males and females mostly males.

"AH, with these humans the Red Eyes will surely give over the thrown." said a guy stepping out from behind his people.

He was dressed in all black and his hair was black too, so there isn't much for me to describe.

"What do you mean, you're humans too. You got legs, arms, a head, eyes-." Joey was cut off by the guy laughing.

"He doesn't know about us." he said but then he looked at me with a serious look. "But she does."

"Leave us alone." I yelled trying to get out of the guy's grip but it was useless.

"Knows what? Tara who are these people." Joey yelled in frustration.

"Does this look like a time to explain to you." I yelled but but I knew they were enjoying this.

"Take them in before Jacob finds her." the guy said again.

In my head I heard a voice, a very familiar one too. "Try everything you can to distract them." he said.

As the guy pulled me back to my feet I tried fighting back, Joey did the same too but it just made them more mad.

Before I could proses what just happened the room was full of vampires, Red, Purple and Grey.

Jacob took one look at me and I nodded back to say I'm okay.

"Let them go, they are our property." Jacob said to the leader of the Grey Eyes.

He just laughed but I could hear the worry in his voice. "Or what." he said

"Nothing, you know what happens if you take what part of ours." a brunette boy said standing next to Jacob.

The guy looked around to his people then to us and back to Jacob.

"Even if you tried you wouldn't win." Jacob said again.

The guy didn't say anything but they started leaving and left us. "You get this point Sartorius."

I rubbed my wrist a bit from the tight grip the guy had on me.

"You okay?" Jacob asked holding my wrist to see if anything happened to them. "Yeah I'm fine"

To be continued.
