My Joe~a Joanne fan fiction

Chapter 1: An Uninvited Visitor

It was an early Monday morning and the golden sun shone through the rehearsal studio, Joe and Dianne sat together on the floor, Joe with his arm round her laughing hysterically at an edit a fan had made of them.
"Your little face! You look so concentrated" Dianne laughed, her long Scarlett hair brushing on Joe's shoulder
"Yeah but look at you! You look like you're about to kill someone"
Joe replied looking into her teary eyes.
He looked down at his phone and his face fell. "Oh my god we need to stop watching videos and actually dance, look we've been here for half an hour doing nothing."
Dianne ran her hands through his messy mop of hair and said reassuringly,
"Joe, come on it's the final, you're like a pro now! I'm sure missing half an hour won't do any harm"
she smiled, liking that he cared more about the dance than she did.
Just as they were about to get up, Joe suddenly stopped and grinned too, he remembered Dianne would be staying at his tonight to film their annual reaction video; he always enjoyed those nights spending time with her. Dianne questioned him,
"what are you so happy about?"
He just shook his head and got back up reluctant to show his feelings.
For the rest of the day, Joe worked super hard on his show dance and even started rehearsing the Paso Doble he had wanted to perform again for the judges. Dianne had never been more proud, and she too was excited to be spending the night with Joe after their rehearsals, for weeks now she had been waiting for those special evenings to come round and she had loved every moment of them. The time raced and soon it was 10:00pm, the two began to get ready to leave and Joe helped Dianne get her coat on when the door opened,
"Dianne!"
A mans voice shouted from the doorway. Dianne quickly turned her head to see Anthony, her ex boyfriend who she had broken up with towards the beginning of her and joe's strictly journey. He was grinning from ear to ear, however Dianne backed away as if this man were her worst fear.
