Students running down the halls, rushing to get to their specialised classes.

Cordelia had to go to the magic hall which is where she would have her magic classes.

---

Opening the door to the class, Cordelia saw a few students burying their heads into what seemed like spellbooks.

All the students and the teacher heard the click and squeaks from the door and raised their heads ever so slowly

One of them spoke up, "Oh look a new kid!" They had smirk plastered on their face.

That's when the teacher snapped her fingers. The once magical lecture hall turned into a battlefield. "Time for the initiation," The teachers and students said in unison.

Cordelia not knowing what's going on stepped back in slight fear and asked, "M-may I ask what's going on?"

"The initiation of course. We'll battle each other with out magic one by one the loser of this little tournament will be kicked out and placed in another magic class," a boy with glasses answered my question.

"So get on the field!" The teacher barked. Hesitantly I walked over to the field as they started to decide who will go first.

The first one up was the one who first spoke when I entered. And oh dear god did he look scary. A shadow created by the light's direction was covering the the eyes and just above the tip of the nose.

With a smirk on his face he looked up, the face now fully visible.

"3..

2..

1.." The class counted down slowly. As the teacher got ready to protect the students.

"FIGHT!" The teacher signaled with her hands falling down.

He immediately rushes in with a seemingly unending bloodlust. "sphaera aquae," he chanted.

In which Cordelia recognized as the spell mostly used by aura users, it was for water if my memory serves me good.

A ball of what looks to be glowing aura of water was charging up. It seems like Cordelia was right. He tried to attack, she easily dodged as it was moving at a slow speed. If it had been faster she surely would've been hit.

He resorted to try and take her on physically and not through magic, turns out his technique was sloppy. And Cordelia had have extensive training from martial arts masters. She easily flipped him over. She chanted in my head "ligaveris in terra," which quickly binded him to the ground.

Cordelia stood up straight, as she looked down on the boy, whom was struggling to get out. She reached my hand out as the binds released him. He seemed like he was offered by my sportsmanship gesture and said "I don't need your help, I'll beat you one day. "

Cordelia shrugged and thought that it was a declaration of rivalry. Heh, who would've thought... First day in and she'd have a rival already.

Cordelia never realised till now that the class was clapping loudly. The kid in glasses spiked up again "well then I guess that settles who leaves the class." He said and he and the class look at a girl? boy? Wearing an emerald bracelet. She slowly walks to her seat to pack.

"Wait why is she kicked? " Cordelia asked.

"She the lowest ranked in this class, and since you've beaten our top student everyone is knocked one rank down." the teacher responded this time.

Huh. So I guess there has to be a limit of students for the magic specialty class.
