You are the worst

     Hey eveyone, so I know not everyone likes these author notes, so I'll make this short and to the point. I am not a writer so I don't think this will be good. Leave comments with any changes you think should be made:) Thank you for reading enjoy!

        'Today is the day' Lexi Grassi-Hoying thought. 'Today is a day to be happy and not sad'. Today, November 15th was offically the 3 year anaversay since her sister Payton went missing. Lexi knew that her dad's Scott and Mitch would try to stay strong for this day but deep down they all knew it would be hard. "Lex come on it's time for breakfast" Her dad Mitch called. "Coming daddy!" she called back after taking one last look in the mirror to try to gather herself. Lexi called her dad Mitch daddy and her other dad Scott dad since she is lucky enough to have two dads. Scott and Mitch aslo adopted Lexi on this same day 17 years ago, since they could not have children of their own. But Lexi didn't want to find her bith parents because she loved her family more than anything.
         "Moring daddy, moring dad" Lexi said to her dad's. "Hey how did you sleep sweetie?" Scott asked Lexi. "Not so good. I can't tell if today is a good day or a bad day." Lexi responded. "I know today is going to be half hard half good, but Payton would want you to be happy today because we have something to celebrate and as she always said 'If a day has something bad and good happening, let the good part surround the bad'". Mitch said qouting Payton. "Thanks daddy that really helps. I just miss her and I know this was one of her favorite days to celebrate with us. The day she got a little sister. Sister day". Lexi said to her dad's remebering how much they loved this day. "Hey it's going to be okay, no crying on this day. Now come on I made your favorite chocolate chip panckaes with bacon and hashbrowns". Scott said to his daughter. "Thanks dad. Hey is it okay if Kira comes over?" Lexi asked. She knew she needed her best freind for this hard day, even though she knew at some point she knew Kira would talk about that stupid Boy band 'Why don't we'. "Yeah of course honey" Both her dad's said at the same time and they all laughed. "Thank's guys, I love you" She said after finishing her plate and kissing them both on the cheek as she left for school.
            When Lexi pulled up to the school she had to put on a brave face because, she never told anyone except Kira that her sister dissapeared. She  just didn't want the pitty and the 'I'm so sorry's' every year. She took one last breath and exited the car and walked up the steps to Anderson High School and saw her best frind waiting for her, and immeadatly gave her a huge hug. "Hey are you gonna be okay?" Kira asked. "Yeah this day should be more good than bad, that's how she would want it." Lexi said giving reasuring smile."Oh hey Um my dad's said you could come over today." Lexi said to her best friend trying to change the subject. "Alright, we'll meet right here after school" Kira said as the bell rang for them to go into school. "Okay perfect" Lexi said. "Oh hey Lex before you go I forgot to tell you, Why don't we is touring here soon" Kira said to Lexi. "You're the worst" Lexi said to her best friend. "Oh you love me" Kira responed to Lexi and they both walked away from each other laughing.
