All I could feel was pain, but it faded away. I tried to opene my eyes, but they wouldn't listen to me. Everything around me was darkness, but in front me a bright light started to show. I got up to my feet, stubled forward and walked towards the light. Many times I had been told as a joke that you should never walk into the light, but what if I could come back alive? Was I even dead? As I came closer I started to hear voices around me.

"Delsin, calm down! Fetch and Eugene are after that bitch!" a female voice said, Hannah, I knew it was her. I smiled to myself and stretched out hand towards the light. It felt warm, it started to tickle my skin as I walked more into the light. Suddenly my whole body started to tickle and then I could feel the bed under my body. The soft fabric over my body, and cracket one eye open. Three of the persons that stood nearest me had they backs towards me, I smiled at Delsins back and sighed in relife. He spun around of the sound of another voice, his dark brown eyes widen when they looked into mine green ones.

"Hi." was all I could say before Hannah pushed past Delsin, attacted me and wrapped her arms around my upper body. "I thought I would loose you!" Hannah squeezed me for dear life, Betty came over and sat down next to Hannah. "I can not tell you how sorry I am, [Y/N]." I smiled and shrugged at her, I knew deep down that Betty had never seen Jessica and she would never let her in the Longhouse if she knew what Jessica wanted to do to me.

"Hannah, how long was I out?" I asked as Delsin had finally made her let me go. He looked pained by the question, but looked at Betty. She somehow understood and took a hold off Hannahs arm. "We will leave you alone for a time." Hannah tried to protest, but I shocked my head and smiled at her. Then she let her get dragged away by Betty, and when they stood on the other side of the Longhouse - Delsin sat down and wrapped his strong arms around me. "I thought - Thought that I was going to loose you like ..." I wrapped my arms around him, pressed myself closer to his warmer body. We sat like that for sometime and I needed to ask him something. "Delsin?" he made a noise deep in his throat, I pushed myself away enough to look into his face.

"I do not feel the pain anymore. Why?" Delsin lowered his eyes, but I put my hand on his cheek and made him face me again. "I healed you." I smiled, tears running down my cheeks and pressed my lips to his. Delsins hands took a hold of each side of my face, kissed me with everything he got and a soundless sob could be heard from him. "Thank you, Delsin. You are my hero," he raised an eyebrow and smirked at me. The Delsin I knew was back. "I love it when you say my name." I rolled my eyes and laid back down, Delsin laid down beside me and we faced each other. Delsin laid on the bedding, but I laid under. He strocked a hand over my eyebrow, cheek and lips. He kissed me softly and put an arm over my waist. We locked eyes and I felt that there were only us two in the room.

I found out that we was laying in Delsins bed, by the spaycans that stood on the floor beside the bed. Delsin looked like he was thinking off something, I pocked his nose and kissed him on the forehead. "How long was I out?" I asked the same question I had asked Hannah, but Delsin sighed and pushed his half hidden face further into the pillow. "Delsin?" I nuzzled my face into his chest, he sighed and sat up. I laid still, not wanting to make him mad.

"For four hours," he whispered, I sat up and tried to lay my hand on him, but he shot up and stood still with his back turned. "How could you do something like that, huh?! I have lost Reggie, but I can not loose you too!" I jumped out and stubled as pain shot through me, Delsin turned around when he heard me fell down to the ground.

"Delsin, for seven years ago Jessica was taken by the D.U.P. because my mother feared the Conduits, and after all these years Jessica's family have forgiven my mother. But Jessica is another story, when I was working with the D.U.P. as a nurse, she always found a way to hurt herself. She would not let anyone ... help her, but she did not like that I was the one helping her. I saw in her eyes that she wanted to use her poweres against me, but until now she finally did it. Maybe she think that I am dead, but she will go after my mother, Delsin! The only family I have left, and I need to have - augh!" the pain in my stomach had started to shot up my spine.

"I can only heal what is outside, but the inside needs to heal like normal." Delsin helped me back into the bed, sat down and leaned his elbows on his knees. "Fetch, will find and hunt her down! I wished I was the one hunti-" but I reached out for his hand and made him turn towards me. "Do not say that. Jessica have never been - nice to me, but I do not want you to be like her. Hurting just because it is fun to see people twist in pain!" Delsin leaned his forehead against mine, closed his eyes and kissed on the top of my nose. "I will never, I promise!"

Hannah couldn't wait any longer, as she was walking back and forth in front of us. "When are they coming back? Can you call them, no? Why not?!" Hannah whispered-yelled at Delsin, he narrowed his eyes and Betty took a hold of him. "Now, we all want to find this girl, but she will show up when she is ready." Delsin did also grow restless, but he walked out and called Eugene. "So how are you feeling?" Betty asked me, I thought for a second and said: "Well, Delsin did help me and all. But when I lay still the pain goes away, but he can not heal me that much. Every once in a while he can help me, and maybe soon I will be back on my feet?" Hannah stood up and walked over to me.

She was like a sister to me, but sometimes I wanted to hit her with a rock - just like now. "Can you please just ca-" but then the door shot open and Delsin, Abigail and Eugene walked in. Abigail was covered in mud and Eugene also. "We tried to get her, but damn she is fast! Her power, whatever it is, she is dangerous." Abigail said, her neon power running up and down her arms. Abigail was her name, but she liked it better when we called her Fetch.

"Do you know what kind off power she have?" Hannah asked, I nodded and sat up on the bed. Everyone looked at me, but I couldn't make myself tell them. Jessica's power was something I didn't understand, but I knew what she got her powers from. Betty was next to me in a matter of seconds, telling me it was okay to be afraid and that we all would protect me. "No. The mistake my mother did, Seattle need to pay for it! I can not let her hurt anybody else, so I have to talk to her." Delsin however saw it different, he wouldn't let me near her. And if so, he would hurt her so bad that she wished she never went after me in the first place.

After everyone had calmed down, Abigail and Eugene cleaned and ready, I called my mother. I hoped that Jessica didn't know were my mother lived, that she thought that my mother lived in Seattle. "Hello?" her voice made me tear up, I started to sob and wanted to crule into her. I missed all these years with her, and now I could loose her! "You need to ... to be carefull mom. J-Jessica is l-loose, and I do not wa-want you gone!" Hannah was the only with me, hugged me and pressed me against her chest. I heard some footsteps in the background and praid to the Gods that mom was only walking around.

"Jessica? But is she not..." I tried to stop the tears, but after the sound of it my mother it the ground. "Mom!" she didn't answer, I dropped the phone and Hannah squeezed me harder, everyone else came running and Betty mumbled something. Went to us, hugged my back and I closed my eyes. After all I had done for Jessica, tried to make her see that my mother never meant to harm her, but the idea of revenge was to sweet.

The three Conduits started to walk out, but I shot up and walked to get my shoes. Delsin looked at me, but after a few seconds he yelled: "No, no no no! You are not coming with us!" I glared at him and grabbed my jacket from his grip. "You have now idea of where I lived, and I need to see the house!" Abigail nodded and placed a hand on Delsins shoulder. "She is right, we know nothing were she lived." Hannah and Betty looked at each other, they didn't like the plan either.

Delsin drove at my command, he stopped in front of the white house I had lived almost my whole life. "Wow, I can not imagine that you have lived here." Abigail said, I nodded and walked out. The cold wind hit me hard and once again I remembered that I used to live so close to the beach. Delsin came over to me, took our hands and intertwined our fingers. "Just breath, babe." I nodded and walked towards the house.

As we opened the door, everything was a mess. I stood still as Abigail and Eugene walked inside, I couldn't walk inside. Every memorie wouldn't be the same again, I turned and started to walk. My feet had their own mind and started to lead towards the beach, Delsin yelled after me and ran. "[Y/N]! Wait up!" I stopped at the end, Delsin turned me and tried to make me look at him.

"Babe, [Y/N]? Look at me, please!" I looked at finally at him and sighed. "What am I supposed to do? After everything I have done for her, she - she just ..." Delsin took his arms around me and I closed my eyes. "It is going to be okay? We will find your mother," and with that he dragged me back up to the car, I wouldn't go inside of the house and leaned against the car-door. "D! I found something!" Abigail shouted from inside, and came out.
