http://lachlanholmes.tumblr.com/post/32033186791*"Lucy get out of the bathroom! I have to get ready! HURRY UP!" Sydney yelled, the door shakes as she pounds her fist against it.
Sydney is my twin sister, although we look nothing alike. She inherited our Moms beautiful blonde hair and tan skin and our Dads hazel eyes, while I got stuck with mud brown hair and eyes to match it. When we were kids we were inseparable, but that changed when Dad died, ever since then she has treated me like a complete stranger, only talking to me either when she needed something or when she wanted someone easy to pick on.
I opened the bathroom door, barely dodging her fist as she prepared to bang on the door again, and muttered an apology as I moved out of her way.
I hurried down the hall to my room, and after I closed the door I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. Sydney made me nervous, mostly because with just a few words she could ruin the little bit of social life I have managed to build up. So most of the time I stay out of her way and do as she says.
I slid on a blue t-shirt and and old pair of blue jeans. I put my hair in to a braid, still half wet. It didn't look great, but I don't have anyone to impress.
I walked down to the kitchen and grabbed a pop-tart as I headed out to wait for the bus.
