Ugh, lunch, my most hated time of the day. I stalked into the cafeteria with my head down, trying to attract the least amount of attention possible. I stood in line and tried my best to stay out of everyone's way as they laugh and joked around with their friends.
I grabed some thing that looked like a hamburger and an apple and headed to my usual table, facing the wall. On my way there I passed my old table, as soon as I walked by it everyone there suddenly stopped talking and looked at me with sad smiles, as they did every day since the accident. They knew why I pushed them away, but that doesn't mean they liked it. I toke a step towards them, but then I felt the hurt swelling up inside me and I quickly turned and shuffled away, never looking back. I feel sorry for abandoning them but I can't bring myself to talk to them, it brings back way too much pain and guilt.
I quickly ate my lunch and head to the library.
~~~After School~~~
I walked in the back door of my house as the bus sped pass to drop off the next kid.
When I walked the living room, I found Sydney and Austin making out on the couch. They were to preoccupied to notice me walk across the room to head to my room.
I say down at my desk to work on homework and boy there was a lot of it! Although, it didn't bother me as much as other people, its not like I had anything better to do, plus it kept my mind off what happened.
