Kace was one of the first void children. He was a bengal cat and also ready to save people in the world. He was sent to a girl named Sarah first. Sarah found him on the streets when she was 7 and he lived with her for about a year. Sarah's mom wanted to go to New York one year to meet Sarah's aunt at the airport. They brought Kace, of course his name was now "Cream" for Sarah, and he was fine with sitting in a cage in the airplane if it meant he'd get to see New York with Sarah.

They got off the plane and into the streets of New York. Sarah was holding him in his cage and she was walking with her mom. Her aunt's flight got delayed, so they'd figure that getting a motel room would be best until the next day.

Sarah and her mom were crossing the streets when she saw it. So did Kace. Sarah turned her head just in time to see a horrible sight. A plane crashing into one of the twin towers. "Mom?! What just happened?" Her mom was just as shocked as her. "W-was.. Aunt Ana on that plane..?" Her mom heard her daughter's words and cried. What if she was on that plane? They rushed to about 100 yards away from the twin towers. The reason why her mom stopped there was because she knew how big the twin towers were and if they were to crash down, Sarah would be crushed. She didn't want to have her daughter die.

They asked people around about why this happened and most people guessed it was an accident. They went to get a motel room and a while later, the news showed another plane crashing into the other tower. This is how they decided it wasn't an accident. Sarah started crying. She knew her aunt had to be on one of the planes. She sobbed and sobbed and Kace desperately wanted to help her.

That night, as sad as Sarah and her mom were, they knew they needed to eat. They went out, with goggles on their eyes because all the dust in the streets, and walked to the nearest food place. They went in. "Brave souls." There was a few workers there that didn't decide to take the day off. "Brave..?" Sarah said, holding Kace in his cage. "Yeah, going out in the dusty streets. You've come here for a bite to eat, right?" Her mom nodded. "What do you have?"

"We have some sandwiches. This is a sandwich shop after all, heh.."

"Before I order, I want to know.. do you know why those planes crashed into the twin towers? It's really sad.."

"I have no idea. Pete thinks we're going to war."

Sarah asked a question, "Should we forgive the people who did this...?"

"Forgive?? No way!"

Sarah sometimes forgets people aren't of her same faith or religion, but continued, "I forgive whoever did it.. it's sad, but I literally can't hold a grudge.."

"You do what you want. You're lucky I'm not allergic to cats."

They got their sandwiches and left. On their way back to the motel, Kace was very hungry. "Sarah, unlocked his cage and he jumped out. There was a car that looked parked, so Sarah and her mom fed him some meat from their sandwiches. The car's lights lit up. Sarah thought it was unusual for someone to start their car to drive when it was foggy from all the dust. Kace distracted the driver and instead of running over Sarah and her mom, it ran over him. He was okay with dying though because from Sarah, he learned a good lesson.

We must forgive all people.
