14. The Wrong Path.

•=Pepe's POV=•

Maybe I am small, but I don't care. I will become the true actual beast! "Owls attacked me! Memories attack me!" Gawsh I wish I could make them change their opinions. And no. Obviously no. Everybody knows that the path to the Owl Hole isn't defeated. I could feel the lie.

Soon Pepe arrived to the hole. Only crickets. He was a little scared but he well knew that the reason why he is here isn't that dangerous. He didn't care if he got attacked of any creature. He was on for the job of saving Jass.

I was walking slowly when I heard something. It was an owl. My heart started beating a little faster. Now I got really scared. Oh dear Luggari I miss you. Why did I go here? Oh God.

Something flew threw the innocent bear arm. It was bleeding and injured.

A-a-ah! It hurts. God damn you owls! I can't believe they are still cursed.

Another shot through Pepe's mane. Luckily just mane. But Pepe was poisoned. His blood went dark and he started falling asleep.

I am such a fool! Why did I go here all alone. Jass! Luggari! Please! Help!

The owls slowly flew in circles around him and a black figure showed. It picked him up and e fell asleep.

•=Lugs' POV=•

"Where's my little fur ball?" I look around searching for Pepe, or else I prefer calling him 'Peep'. I couldn't fins him and worried I wake up the others.

"Guys have you seen Peep?!" I ask scared again.

"No Lugs sorry. But at the night I heard screams quite like him but I was too tired and tough that were just dreams." Maya answered worried even more.

I saw here eyes getting a little watery. I knew she was sorry.

"It's all my fault! He probably went to save Jass!" Sara said already crying.

"He was really mad since we said we couldn't take the shortcut." Kaya sadly mumbles.

"I'll go find him, then we'll catch up later on the way." I say with a brave look on my face.

"No way we're letting you do this, Lugs!" Nick said with quite angry look on his lil blushed face.

"Sorry, but I can't leave without Pepe!"

I say already took the decision.

Already on my way, I was thinking about Jass. I'll try connecting to her.

"Why didn't you go with them!" I hear from Jass, who was yelling at me.

"I had to save Pepe!" I yell back. I think a little and then I gasp.

"Yeah. You forgot that only you can protect them didn't you?" she asks with disappointing look on her face.

"Okay but why didn't you tell me about the cursed owls!? About the way was closed?! And also about Sara!?" i ask furiously looking at Jass.

"Because it's way much easier than the other way!" Jass yells again.

"The others are OP!" I mention again.

"Okay, let's see if you can catch them on time, Luggari. Anyway, wish you luck." and Jass disconnected from my mind.

I saw a wide field. It was with high wheat and also ere and there couple of trees. What I saw in the middle was the almost dead Peep. Oh glad that e is alive! His hand had a bandage. He woke up and hugged me tightly. This continued one more minute.
