I woke up the next morning next to shadow, he slept beside me so peacefully, I resisted the urge to caress him for I did not want to wake him from his slumber. After sonic left i forgot all of my problems as me and shadow had some fun. I spied the banana we used off to the side, remembering it with pleasure, I mean who knew a fruit could be used like that? After the euphoria of last night wore off I realized that I had to deal with all of the problems today, omelet man and sonic. To calm down I listed off the things that made me happy: polishing shadows rifle, cleaning his chimney and other naughty activities. I heard a footstep approaching me from behind and realized it was shadow. At first he grabbed my waist but I motioned sadly for him to stop.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"I'm just worried ya know?"
"Yeah" said shadow solemnly "try thinking of something funny to lighten the mood."
I chuckled "One time my mom whipped me with a belt for taking her pain pills but I couldn't feel the pain, stupid old lady."
Shadow burst out laughing I could tell he was faking but it still made me feel better nonetheless.
"Alright" said shadow "we need to get moving if we wanna finally defeat omelet man."
I sighed, unsure of what was to come but slowly dressed putting on my clothing that were strewn across the room.
"Why does omelet man want me anyways?" I ask shadow without making eye contact as most of my energy was currently being put into getting my pants on.
"He just gives me orders" he replyed also not attempting at eye contact "I don't ask why he has me do stuff, except that one super creepy time he asked to sniff my feet and he got all touchy." I could hear the shiver run down his back in the way he spoke the last part. He suddenly snapped to me and grabbed my arm to lead me out the door as soon as he saw I was all dressed.
As we walked out the door he latched onto my arm and I could hear him softly say to no one in particular,
"Lets do this"
