I'll Protect You

"Sis I wanna go to the park!"

The young mischievous cat elf, Nana, was so energetic in the early morning that she c̶o̶m̶m̶a̶n̶d̶ed̶ begged Miya to let her go to the park.

"Not now, I'm busy with my chores." said Miya while washing dishes.

"Pleaseeeee... " Nana showed Miya her puppy dog eyes, which was super effective since Miya always gave in to her cuteness easily.

Miya sighed, "Fine, but I can't go with you. I have to prepare for my presentations tomorrow. "

Nana's eyes sparkled, "really?! Thanks sis!" She hugged Miya and ran to the door excitedly.

"Come home before 5! Stay safe! Don't talk to strangers, don't go far and-"

"Okay okay, stop nagging!" Nana made a funny face and left.

Miya continued washing the dishes and murmured, "why do I have a bad feeling about this?"

Nana enjoyed looking at the flowers, admiring the beautiful scenery.

Everything was fine, until a white cat poked her leg.

"Aww kitty... Wait, where are you going?"

The cat ran to another direction, leading Nana to the forest entrance. The white cat then disappeared.

"Kitty? Where are you?" As Nana was searching for the cat, she didn't realised that she was going further away from the forest entrance, walking deeper into the woods.

Nana finally gave up finding the cat. She turned back and found that she was completely lost in the forest. "Where... where should I go now?"

She walked aimlessly, trying the find a way out, but failed.

"I'm hungry... " she stopped wandering around and sat under the tree. "I miss Miya... "

"... I'm hungry too. "

"Who are you?" Nana looked around to find where the voice came from. Then, a tiger showed up.

"It doesn't matter who am i. You're gonna be my lunch now. " The tiger roared in a low voice.

"Ahhhh!!" Nana began to run as the hungry tiger chased her.

Unfortunately, she tripped herself and fell down. Just before the tiger could land a claw on her, a girl holding a hammer appeared in front of Nana.

"Don't be afraid, I'll protect you!" The girl said confidently.

The tiger sensed bigger strength from the girl, so it retreated.

As the girls watched the tiger running away from them, they sighed in relief.

"Thanks for saving me. " Nana hugged the girl, almost the same height as hers. "My name is Nana. What's your name?"

"I'm Lolita." She replied as she hugged back. "I'll help you to get out from here. "

They managed to get out from the forest by 6. Nana could see Miya's worrying face as she searched for Nana everywhere in the park.

"Sis Miya!" Nana ran to Miya and hugged her tightly.

"I'm sorry, I won't go far again!" Nana apologized as she shed a tear.

Miya was grateful that Nana returned safely. "I'm sorry too, I should accompany you.. "

Before they went home, Nana hugged Lolita again.

"Umm... Thanks for saving her. " Miya shook Lolita's hand.

"It's okay, that's my job to help people. I'm a soldier in training." said Lolita as she patted Nana's head gently.

"Soldier? Cool! " Nana's eyes sparkled.

"Is it? " Lolita let out a small laugh.

"Nana, time to go home now! " Miya shouted from afar.

"I guess I have to go now... " Nana waved at Miya. "When can I see you again?"

Lolita took out a small piece of paper and wrote on it. "This is my phone number, feel free to call me when you miss me. "

Nana took the paper and kept it as a treasure. "You must stay safe during trainings or missions, so I can call you everyday! "

Lolita made a promise with the innocent girl in front of her.

"I will. "

Nana kissed Lolita's cheek before she ran back to Miya.

"Bye bye, see you again! "

Lolita put her hand on her kissed cheek and smiled.

"I'll see you again ❤"
