Shannon's POV

It was another day at school. I woke up, and looked at my iPhone 6:30! "I'M LATE!!" I screamed! I ran out of bed, put on my 5SOS crop top, and Dip Dyed high waisted shorts. I brushed my teeth. I ran downstairs, and grabbed a protein bar. "Shannon don't run!" My mom yelled.

"In late mom!" I screamed back.

"WELL DON'T RUN!!" She screamed.

"Dumb-ass" I said under my breath, running out the front door, closing he door behind me.

I ran onto the bus, and sat next to my friend Yvonne.

"Late again?" She asked.

"Yup." I said catching my breath.

"I found out some news!!" She said excited.

"What??" I said, putting my hair in a ponytail.

"A guy named Trevor is coming to our school tomorrow!!"

"Tomorrow??"

"Yea!!"

"How do you know??"

"I heard people talking about it."

"Crystal?"

"Yup."

I rolled my eyes, ugh I hated crystal, she's the biggest teacher's pet, and yet, she's the biggest bully on earth. Every time I see her, I want to punch her eyeballs out of her head.

"C'mon, you're STILL mad at crystal??"

"I have a pretty god damn good reason!!"

"Yea yea I know, she left you in 6th grade for the hottest guy in school..."

"John Killian." I said rolling my eyes, again.

"Ugh, there it is... Hell." Yvonne said, when we arrived at high school.

We stepped off the bus, we immediately got run over by seniors.

"Ugh, I hate seniors." I said.

"It's what we get for being freshmen... AKA..." Yvonne started saying.

"Fresh-MEAT." We said.

I walked into the school, grabbed the stuff I needed for the first half of my day, and went to home room.

It was finally lunch. I got the usual, meatlover's extra cheese pizza. I sat down, where I usually sit, next to Yvonne.

"How's your day so far??" She asked me.

"I lost my appetite." I said, pushing my tray away.

"Why?? What happened?"

"I just had science last period... You dissect cow hearts."

"Yuck!" Yvonne said pushing her tray away.

"Ok, so did you hear anything about this Trevor guy?... You know from crystal."

"Yea..."

"WHAT?? Tell me!!"

"Um...."

"C'mon TELL ME!!"

"He lives like right next door to you."

"1.really?? They sold the house to a family with a son named Trevor?? And 2)what are you not telling me... You're hiding something.."

"He can't choose his name."

"What are you NOT TELLING me?!?!"

"He's in ALL of your classes."

"WHAT?!???" I screamed. Everyone looked at me, I threw my food away, and went to the bathroom.

I went home. I threw my bag on the floor, and jumped onto my bed. And then I heard a loud sound, ike a truck. I looked out my window, it was a moving truck.

Ugh it's that Trevor guy. I thought.

My younger twin brothers ran in, "Mom wants you to meet the new next door neighbors." One of them said.

"How about you two losers?" I asked.

"We already said Hi." The other one said. And they both ran away.

I went down stairs, and grabbed 2 cans of Pepsi out of the fridge. I walked outside, and went nextdoor to say Hi. I knocked on the door, a woman with brown hair. "Hi," she said.

"Hello, I'm your neighbor." I said, and pointed at my house.

"Oh Hi, I'm Mrs. Moran." she said, offeringing me to shake her hand. I shook her hand and said, "Hi, I'm Shannon."

"I'm just wondering, do you go to the high school near here?"

"Yea."

"Oh, my son, Trevor, is starting to go there tomorrow."

"That's cool, We are all excited to meet him."

"Oh you can meet him now."

"No tha-" I started to say.

"TREVOR COME DOWN HERE!" She yelled.

And a boy with brown hair, and dark blue eyes. "Hi," I said.

"Hi, I'm Trevor"

"Shannon." I said, giving him a handshake.

His mom left, and Trevor led me to some seats in the backyard.

"Here.. Want a pepsi?" I said, handing him a pepsi.

"Thanks." he said, taking a sip.

"So how's life?"

"Pretty bad, truthfully... You don't wanna hear about it..."

"No, it's okay... go ahead." I said, gazing into his eyes.

I felt like I had the butterflies, I was nervous, yet happy... I think I was in love.
