Present, Incheon Airport, South Korea
"Shin!" The guy who just entered the café turned around when he heard his name being called. A guy with bright smile and fair skin waved his hand to him. The guy, Shin made his way to the guy. "You made it." The guy talked in local language.
"You're saying as if I'm the one who always on the plane going around the world." Shin replied in the same language. "Long time no see, Jumin." They exchanged a hug before the fair-skinned guy, Jumin pulled the slight tanned guy, Shin to sit beside him. Some girls near them stole some looks at the two handsome guys in which one could pass as an actor with his fair look – Jumin – while the other one – Shin – was astounding with his sharp feature even his look was not a local. In short, people knew it one glance he's not Korean.
"Long time no see. I miss you, Shin." The slight tanned guy, Shin chuckled and nudged Jumin away.
"Sir, I obviously don't miss your flirty ass." Jumin laughed.
"You're so mean, Stud." This time Jumin changed language to their mother tongue. Shin narrowed his eyes.
"I told you over and over again not to call that name, Mint!" Shin smacked Jumin's head with a rapid burst of their mother tongue. Jumin pouted and rubbed his head.
"That hurts. Mae still call you that, why can't I?" Jumin whined. Shin rolled his eyes. "Hey, I can't be long here, entertain me not bully me." Jumin pouted. Shin scoffed.
"How long you will stay here this time?" Shin changed back to the local language.
"A week."
"Then, spend time with your parents. Go on dates."
"You come also." Shin scoffed.
"I'm working." Jumin chuckled.
"Come on. Take few days leave. You love me."
"Ani (No). I hate you. Wishing I don't meet you back then."
"Hey, so meanie. I help you from a big trouble okay." Jumin pouted, this time seriously sulking. Shin raised his brow.
"Sulk, I don't care." Jumin glared at Shin irritated before pinched Shin's muscled arm, not too bulky but the hard muscle was there. Shin just laughed to the cute pinch, he didn't feel anything. The girls in the café were still looking at them, somehow few of them started to ship both of them because they're cute. Jumin sighed.
"How's your work?"
"Just fine. I'm good with the language now so I'm good. Nothing much trouble. Two years are doing fine for me." Jumin nodded. "Where will you fly after this?" Shin asked. Jumin looked at him.
"Thailand." Shin stiffened before fixing his expression later. Jumin studied Shin's face. "Do you really don't want to go back home at all?" Jumin asked in their mother tongue.
"Here is my home. I'm Kim Shin now, a citizen of South Korea." Shin said, replying in Hangul with a smile that didn't reach his ears. Jumin sighed. Even they knew each other for two years, he still didn't know what had happened to Shin in the past that made the guy moved to South Korea.
"Okay, okay. Won't say anything more. But do expect to miss me, I will be there for three weeks."
Shin chuckled. "You won't be missed."
"Aish, so cruel." Shin just laughed. They finally called for the waiter to place their order, some coffees. The two friends were catching up about their life after a week not seeing each other. Shin was fetching Jumin who just landed at the airport. Jumin was a pilot and he just flew to Dubai a week ago. They're meeting in one of the café in the airport as the guy said he's meeting someone first. Shin still remembered their first meeting, the very first day Shin arrived in South Korea to start his new life away from his past which he knew he won't be able to forget.
