Seoul, South Korea

Shin cursed after he closed the taxi door. No, he's not mad at the taxi driver, the old man was so kind. The reason he was mad that his car broke down and he's late to work because of it. Shin made a hurried step towards his company entrance as he kept watching at his watch. He didn't realize he was about to bump to someone. "Ouch, shit." He cursed but didn't spare a glance as he apologized. "Sorry. I'm in hurry." Shin just walked away before the guy he bumped could say anything.

The guy stared at the leaving back. "Wow, he's surely so late. To even notice he made me spilled some coffee here." The guy commented as he looked at the spilled coffee on the pavement. It didn't get on him or the busy guy, luckily. The guy glanced at the way he was disappearing. "He's... interesting thou. Hope I have some luck to see him again." The guy smiled, his cross earring shone under the sun as he moved away from the spot.

Shin sighed as he entered his office, a part of HR department. "Sorry I'm late." Shin said to everyone more to his boss who sat near the entrance.

"What happened?" His boss asked.

"My car broke down, sir."

"Well, just go to your station. Need to finish some papers today before clocked out." Shin nodded.

"I will do it. And I'm sorry again for coming late." His boss dismissed him. Shin quickly took his seat and his co-worker came to him with a bunch of papers. Shin turned to her.

"This pile is the one needed to settle as soon as possible, dateline today. This bunch, the dateline is tomorrow. And this bunch is to review before you can give to recruitment team." The girl placed the papers on Shin's desk. Shin took a breath.

"Just nice to start my day." The girl laughed.

"I will help after I finish my work."

"Worry you work first." Shin said and quickly got into his working mode. The day just passed by like that for him. He didn't even take proper lunch if he's in one of his working mood. Lucky enough, his co-workers already picked his habit after two years working together that they bought some bread for him when they went for lunch and forced him to eat when they came back.

"Shin, it's already 6. Aren't you going back?" Shin heard someone called his name. He glanced for a while.

"What?"

"I think you have finished what you should for today. It's time to go home." Shin blinked. He turned to look at his co-workers who were packing up to go home. He didn't even realize the time had passed this late. Shin glanced at the papers left on his desk. Not so many, in fact he already done with today's workload ten minutes ago.

"Never mind, I will finish this a bit and go back later." Shin said.

"Don't stay too long, it will be hard to get taxi later. Oh, this won't do. I will check on you later." One of them said. Shin grinned. It happened before that he was doing his job until very late and he skipped dinner, unluckily that day it was heavy snow so he was stuck at the company until the next day.

Everyone went home while Shin was still finishing his work. Sounds of paper, typing on keyboard and clicking filled the barren office. For some moments later, his phone rang when he just finished the last paper he needed to check. He took his phone.

"Hello, mae."

"Where are you, Shin? Still at work?" Shin glanced at the clock. It's already 8pm.
