Part 5 - End

Earth looked up when someone sat in front of him. He smiled a little. Two hours ago, Mint sent him back to his hotel after spending little time at the house after dinner. Upon Mint leaving the hotel after dropping him, Earth didn't go up to his room. He went to the 24-hours café and waited for him. He didn't give up waiting even he waited more than an hour. And he's right to do so. The person he waited was finally here.

"Why you're still here?"

"I told you I will wait, Stud." Stud sighed and looked outside the window.

"Why you want to meet me? I'm well-known you hate me, and that's-"

"I don't. Boyo told me the full truth." Earth cut him off. Stud gritted his teeth. He could figure it out by the behaviour Earth had since they met by chance at the Kim's house. If Earth only knew about what he wanted that guy to know, he's sure Earth already attacked him right there or maybe giving the eyes full of hatred. "Stud, why you did that?" Earth asked.

Stud stayed silent for a while. "Just move on from that past. I already got pass it." Earth bit his lips.

"Even I know the story, I still want to know your story."

Stud shook his head. "There's no need to talk about past."

Earth stared at Stud, sighing. He knew Stud wont tell anything. "After Boyo told me everything, she asked me something." Stud pretended not to listen but Earth continued anyway. He wanted to say this, he didn't know what he wanted to gain by telling this but he wanted to come clear with himself. "Do you really never feel something for him? Boyo asked me. But I didn't answer her. I don't want to answer her."

Stud bit his lips. To be honest, that question intrigued him too. He did want to know but he never asked. Nor have the right to ask, he guessed.

"I'm selfish myself. I know your feelings. I know you never move on even you say it will pass, on that day you confess to me. I know that but I don't want to lose you." Earth took a breath. Their eyes met when Stud turned to look at him. The silence let their eyes talk for a short while. "The first time I see you, I already... feel something. But I don't want it to be like my past relationship. Like, get together, lost the love and then breakup. So I held back, plus I don't want to lose a friend. And... you grew in me, you have been special to me. I know you're more than the player, the asshole you appeared to be. But still, I'm afraid. When you confess, I don't know what to do. I'm afraid to take a step forward. I'm afraid where future will bring us. I just don't want to lose you, Stud." Earth exhaled as he poured out the heavy baggage resided in his heart.

Stud's eyes were blank but a choked laugh came out from his lips. It was painful in Earth's hearing. Earth knew... it was more painful for Stud. He just wanted Stud to know, his love wasn't one-sided. "Isn't this funny?" Stud said with a snicker.

"Stud, I'm sorry."

Stud shook his head. "You know... I could never get mad at you, Earth. Be it you crush me, kill me hundreds time, I can't. So don't say sorry. I don't know what Boyo told you but I did everything for you. My heart told me to do so, and I did. Your happiness is more important than anything to me." Earth bit his lips. His eyes were teary. Stud continued. "I guess, you're not afraid when you fall for that jerk." Earth looked down.

"I don't have answer for that. I just..."

"No, no need to explain it." Stud let out a chortle. "Fate plays us well." Stud looked to the window again. Earth looked up to Stud. "Do you really love Mint?"

Earth exhaled. "I..."

"Don't play his heart. He's fragile inside." Shin turned to Earth. Earth shook his head.
