"Mum!" I yell over the television. She snapped back into reality as the tv sunk deeper and deeper into her mind. She turned her head towards me as she took another mouth full of steak.
"What do you want?!" Mum answer, clearly angry I interrupted the tv.
"Can I go to a real school? Like Straff High School?" I ask. She sighs as she slowly puts down her knife and fork.
"Look, dear, we've gone over this. Ever since your father died, we haven't had enough money to send you away to an actual school. We homeschool you here because of that reason. Any other questions?" Mum replies.
"Yes, actually. What if we got jobs? Then we could pay off the bills and afford enough money to send me off the school. Possibly..."
"One day, Olivia, one day... now eat your dinner, you haven't touched any of it.."Sorry if this chapter is really short. I'm not sure what else to put in it. I will write more chapters, obviously, but for now, that's it. Let me know if you guys enjoy it as I write more. Thank you! 😊
