*.✧𝙃𝘼𝙍𝙍𝙄𝙀𝙏 𝙅𝘼𝙈𝙄𝙀 𝙋𝙊𝙏𝙏𝙀𝙍 have never thought that someone who she despised and hated a lot namely 𝘿𝙍𝘼𝘾𝙊 𝙇𝙐𝘾𝙄𝙐𝙎 𝙈𝘼𝙇𝙁𝙊𝙔, will be the one to help her through thick and thin along with her friends.
It started on the jabs...
Professor Snape stopped at where Jamie was sitting on Tuesday in Potions, and Jamie can see How arrogant Malfoy's smirk on the corner of her eyes. Seconds passed, before accepting the two parchments of scrolls of their essay on the top of her table with a sneer. Jamie did everything on her Potions, and She can say she was satisfied with her work. She even pleaded Hermione to read her essay for any kinds of errors, while Ron sulked on his dorm and still ignoring Hermione.
"20 points from Gryffindor." Professor Snape announced to the class, and Jamie's jaw dropped while Groans can be heard in different corners of the room. "And 10 points each from Weasley and Potter. They will be punished for their actions for not working with Cooperation on their assigned partners."
Jamie saw it coming, and Ron sent a grimace to Professor Snape when the Professor turned his back. Leaving their Partners behind could be the best thing they did, And Jamie's sure it is worth it.
She's more than happy to clean the Potion's room, with all the left equipment from the individual activity and ingredients properly back on its place with just a flick of their wands.
Hermione approached her and agreed to schedule their sneaking out on Saturday midnight, even though her schedule is full with all the studying and visits to Hagrid. Jamie can still sense Hermione's disapproval. But, she knows Hermione wants to fix the conflict between Her and Ron, as much as Jamie needed answers.
What is there to lose in trying, right?
Ron was with her on breakfast, and Hermione was nowhere to be seen when She already left the dorm before Jamie can wake up. Oliver's expectations to the match of Ravenclaw and Slytherin's Quidditch match was right. The Slytherin House won, giving the Gryffindors a stand in a match against the Ravenclaws and if they win, they would compete against the Slytherin for the House cup.
Malfoy once smirked at her as soon as the entire Slytherin Quidditch team entered the Hall. Jamie scoffed in disdain, everyone knows they always play dirty against the other Houses. But, the Slytherins still managed to be ecstatic on every game they won, the never-ending Cheers and Hootings for their Victory are still loud enough for the other tables to be uncomfortable.
"Wait until Malfoy sees your Broom after the stripping, Jamie." Said Ron, "His broom will be nothing, compared to yours."
"I bet, He will be telling his father later about it." She joked, and Ron snickered across her.
She saw Oliver entered the Hall almost running with a wide smile, and Jamie wished She wants to feel the same. The bags under Jamie's eyes and the unruliness of her Black hair tied into a ponytail remained along with the screams of her Parents always present on her dreams every night, but it didn't stop her from wanting to go on tonight's lesson with Professor Lupin. The more the past unraveled, the more Jamie becomes more determined.
She always reminded herself on How much she needed this, even if all of the memories are wearing her dry.
"Jamie," Oliver said with excitement evident on his voice, "Professor McGonagall sent me a note, She wanted to see you on the tower right now."
