Chapter 30:

(Ellie's pov)

I just needed a breather and I think going home would give me that. I felt dead rude not saying goodbye to Harry but I know he wouldn't let me go back. Once I'm in my room, I get changed into my pjs just in case dad came back and went downstairs. Mum was sat watching tv.

"Hey" I said sitting down next to her

"Hello, how come your back so early?" She said. I can't tell her what I've found out about myself today, she would freak and probably tell dad

"Just felt like coming back" I lied

"Oh ok" she said. We sat there for ten minutes watching tv until the silence was broken

"Have you applied for craft school?" she asked. I forgot about applying and they have really pressed this issue.

"I've completely forgot" I said

"Ellie!" She said sounding like this is going to be the start of the argument

"I'm sorry but with the move and I was ill, I completely forgot" I said trying to explain myself

"Well it's too late, the application deadline was 5 days ago" she said sounding disappointed in me

"I'm sorry" I said as dad came storming in the house

"son-of-a-bitch" he said sounding annoyed

"language Ryan! you can just walk in whenever you like anymore" mum said reminding me of the split up

"Do you know about this?" dad said standing in front of me obviously asking me. I forced a cough out to still try and pretend to be ill

"No" I said

"What's happened?" mum asked

"Majority of the vampires have escaped the portal" he said putting his hands on his hips

"how?" mum asked

"they must have seen the boys escaped and followed them" he said now moving around the room and getting in the way of the TV

"why would you think ellie would know about this?" mum asked getting defensive

"Ellie, can me and your mum have a private conversation?" he said looking at mum

"Ok" I said before pretending to cough before walking upstairs into my room. Once I sat In my bed, I crossed my legs and looked down into my lap and started crying. what am I going to do? I can't look after a baby. I quickly wiped away the tears when I felt a gush of wind hit me. I looked at my side and saw Harry, he took a piece of hair from my face and tucked it behind my ear. He placed his cold hand on my cheek as if he were about to kiss me but then put a potion bottle between our heads

"What's this?" I asked taking the bottle and observing the orange liquid

"Try it" he said looking into my eyes. I looked down again at the bottle.

"Please" he whispered. I quickly took the bottle and drank it like a shot. I felt it like poison going down my throat, it felt like pins and needles inside my body.

"What did you give me?" I asked standing up and running to the bathroom. I hovered over the toilet as the feeling of sickness rushed to my head. As the feeling died off, I went back into my room to talk to give Harry a piece of my mind but when I got in there, he was gone and a letter was left.

'You really think I was going to let you have the demon child? Think next time before you drink'

What did he do to me? does this mean I'm not pregnant? I'm quickly disturbed by my thoughts when both my wrists are grabbed from behind me and my eyes are blindfolded. just as I'm about to scream, something fills my mouth and I can't move my jaw. I attempt to scream when something is injected into my arm, making me feel weak and woozy. I try to fight it but it just makes me loose more energy and makes me feel weak.

I know I'm not conscious anymore but I hope I'm not dead
