After doing all ma work I decided to check for Royce. Since I ain't seen him.
"Hey Chap, you see Royce" I asked on of ma boys.
"He left bout an hour ago" he replied.

I decided to call him but no answer, so I called Nisha as she called me before but when I opened ma phone I saw series of missed calls and texts.

From Pamela: hey, tryna call you, Nisha has just been rushed to the hospital. The Emergency ward, get here as soon as you get this.

From Homeboy: man, Nisha hurt get here quick.

I couldn't believe what I saw, immediately I got into ma car and drive off on high speed.

As I rushed in, I saw Pamela, Grace and Pinky standing and talking with the doctor while Royce stood behind them.
"Hey, what's going" I asked them as the doctor walked away.

"Where the fuck were you. Maybe if you would have gotten here sooner she wouldn't have been stabbed" Royce said through gritted teeth.

"Whatchu talking bout" I asked him as I saw the redness in Pinky's eyes.
"She was raped, beaten and stabbed twice in the stomach" Grave said coldly.

"What" I asked again in shock. "She was calling you, she was calling you man" Royce said in tears.

"Man I swear I ain't mean to....."
"Its not the time, let's just hope and pray, the doctor said she's in surgery so we don't know anything yet.

I quietly sat down and placed ma head in ma hands, if I had picked that call she would have been okay. Oh lawd please let her live damn.
