Ryan:
“She’s such an idiot!” I am pacing around the room, and it is unclear on what I should do. I should save her. I should drag everyone out of that room, take my sister and leave. She doesn’t deserve this. I promised to protect her and this happens. “What are they doing? I need to stop them!” I watch Eva watch me with a confused look that soon turns to anger. “Tell me Ryan, what can you do? They are only going to do the same thing to you!” I freeze and fall to my knees. Her screams are forever in my mind. I cover my ears and try to remember her laughing. It doesn’t work. I scream for it to stop. The sounds are relentless. Eva rushes to my side. But I ask myself, what could she possibly do? What can anyone truly do?
