He didn't fall.

No, he plummeted.

Love had never been easy for him.

His mother abandoned him.

His father disowned him.

But falling for her had been as easy as breathing.

So he let go.

He closed his eyes and let himself fall, hoping she would catch him, but instead, he flew.

Love had clipped his wings, stolen the breath from his lungs, but she had saved him.

She had saved him.

She was his Sun.

The light he so desperately chased.

The warmth he so desperately ached for. 

And so, like a comet, he chased her.

He followed the trail of stardust she left behind, while the crumbling remains of his own icy walls broke away.

He didn't fall, he plummeted.

Chasing her, into forever.
