Jimin's POV

I wake up, yawning and stretching. Suddenly I feel something warm on my head. I smile to myself as I gently pick up my sleeping rabbit off my head. 

"Aww." I whisper as I pet him, slowly getting off my bed to put him back in his cage. 

Once he's inside, I head to the shower, giving myself a moment to relax before Taehyung starts calling me. 

~Time Skip~

I sigh happily, stepping out of my shower and drying myself off. I put on my clothes and continue to dry my hair as I walk back into my bedroom. 

"Sqee?" Kookie calls. 

"It's just me, Kookie." I say, picking up my phone.

"Oh fuck." I groan, sighing as I open the messages. 

Tae: Morning babe 😉

Tae: Aren't you awake yet??

Tae: Don't tell me you've gone on a walk with your rabbit or something 😒

Tae: Seriously where are you?

Tae: I want to come pick you up at 2pm at the latest. Please be ready. 

Tae: ...Hello?

Tae: Are you ignoring me?

Tae:....listen, is this because of last night? Did I say something wrong?

Tae: My parents called, they'd like to meet us at the house by tomorrow. We'll definitely need to leave today. 

Tae: Make sure you bring something nice for dinner. 

I groan, reading through the texts. Suddenly my phone begins to buzz. 

[Incoming call from Taehyung]

Gently I answer it, knowing already that he'll be mad. 

"Hello?" 

"Jimin? What the hell?! I've been trying to get a hold of you all morning!" I wince as he shouts. 

"Listen, I was in the shower. I'm fine-"

"Are you packing right now? We need to be driving to the airport in like an hour and a half."

"I haven't talked to Hobi yet." I explain, not liking how much he's pressuring me. 

"About what?" He asks, sounding annoyed. 

"About watching Kookie. I'll call him right now."

"And if he says no are you gonna let your pet ruin this whole trip?" 

I sigh, running a hand through my hair, secretly thinking that I'd like to stay rather than go. 

"... I just want to make sure he's got what he needs." I say slowly. 

"Great. Well, make sure your rabbit has his life together." He sighs angrily, ending the call. 

I take the phone away from my ear, setting it next to me on the bed. 

"Kookie, why can't I just be a rabbit like you?" I sigh, kneeling down in front of his cage as I watch him nibble on his leftover food from last night. "It would be so much easier..." He blinks, looking at me with his big, dark eyes that sparkle.
