This job sucked.

But unfortunately, it was the only one that would hire humans.

But, (f/n) did have to say, out of all the Mobians that could have hired her, Greg wasn't the worst.

He understood that she was uncomfortable with all this, and if she had a few accidents, he found it acceptable.

There were times she was overwhelmed, and overly flustered. And when those times came, she and Greg had an unnoticeable hand signal that told him when she needed a break. It was a simple little hand gesture, where she bent her pinkie inward and bobbed it toward the back of the restaurant.

They (the males of course), thought this was quite enjoyable. They found it cute when the little attractive human tripped, or fell into a man's lap by accident, because she just had this little blush they couldn't ignore. So then they started to make her fall deliberately and they did it so often, Greg had to buy plastic dishes for her to use.

There was one other reason that (f/n) felt that her job sucked.

The uniform.

Now usually, if a waitress was wearing the attire of a normal restaurant, no one would really notice, or care. But this wasn't a normal restaurant. Oh no.

The uniform here was what the poor girl would call skimpy, somewhat revealing, and ultimately demeaning. In short, it was a little maid outfit.

She was so embarrassed she couldn't stand it. And the only reason she was here was to be able to stop freeloading her friends, and making them feel bad when they left her behind to save the world. Because where was the sense in that?

But after a week or two, the cycle became the norm, and (f/n) was starting to get somewhat used to it, not using her and Greg's hand signal as often. But then her worst nightmare came to being.

It was her friends 'day off', and the girls all decided to have a spa and shopping day. The guys, well, didn't really want to tag along holding the bags and feeling miserable, so they decided to do something different. It was actually Knuckles who decided where they would be going. After wandering his house for a bit (f/n was off doing her job, and she wouldn't tell him where the heck it was for some reason), he found an ad for a new 'guys only' restaurant, and it actually looked pretty good. The guys needed a break, he thought.

So he brought it up the next time they got together to discuss what they should do. Surprisingly, they all agreed, thinking it would be a good release from their girls. I mean, the ad looked inviting, with its warm atmosphere and little female Mobian waitresses dressed in the maid outfits. It seemed fun, so they all agreed to meet up and head there together.

What they weren't expecting, was how crowded it was.

But they guessed that had to do with the place's main attraction.

Their (f/n) was walking around, in heels, something that she did only when necessary (or when Rouge or Amy roped her into it). And she was in the shortest skirt that any of them had ever seen. That, and she was tripping. Not on purpose, but because the males in the café would catch her, just to hold onto her tiny little body.

"(f-f/n)? Silver asked, dumbstruck. The already flustered girl squeaked, and all the men in the room turned to her. They hadn't heard that sound come from her lips before, and oh did they want to hear it again.

The only female waiting tables turned, slowly, and all heads followed, eyes to the short dress she donned. As her wide eyes hit the party table where her friends were situated, all faces blushed, and their owners in turn shifted, their legs maneuvering to make them less uncomfortable (*wink, wink, nudge, nudge*).

"Ah-ah..." (f/n) fiddled with her empty tray, pressing it down to her front. "I'll be serving you all in a moment."

The girl walked quickly enough to the back of the restaurant, shooting Greg the hand signal that meant she was going on a short break. He nodded, and yelled at a pale yellow female to get her butt out there.

Back at the table, all the boys were huddled, some confused, but most sprouting wolfish grins. So that was why she didn't want them to know where she worked.

Everything made so much sense now. "Who thinks that we should have fun with this?" asked one, shaking the blue spines on his head.

Shadow smirked. That was all the answer the rest needed.

Meanwhile, the oblivious girl in the back held her cell phone angrily to her ear. "Rouge!" she whispered loudly, "I thought you said no one I knew would come here!"

"Oh so that's where they went." Rouge replied, obviously amused.

"Rouge!" (f/n) whisper yelled, obviously not.

Rouge was the reason (f/n) even had this job. She and Greg had somewhat of a friendship in the past, and she worked with him in this job previously. She subtly hinted that the human needed a job, and that it would do wonders for his business, and boom the human was hired.

The money was good, but now the girl was thinking about resigning. "I can't go back out there!" she hissed, grabbing her bag.

Rouge was smirking and giggling at how this was going down. Oh, this was better than she thought it would be. The girls were looking at her like she had sprouted wings (which made her laugh harder), as they each got their nails done. "Sweetheart, just ask Greg if he can send someone else to that table. If they all are sitting together, which I know they are, then you can probably joint serve."

She waited for you to say something.

"You can't just leave, (f/n), this is your job." She looked at her now purple nails with distaste. "Just finish today, I bet they won't even remember what went on."

You paused in your packing, thinking for a moment. After a bated breath, "Alright."

Rouge grinned. "Good for you. Now, I need to go, so tell me about it when I see you next, which will be when you get off. Chao!"

"W-wait..." The phone clicked, signaling the end of the conversation. "Rouge!"
